We have been wanting to check out Mamacita's for the last few months since they opened and finally had the opportunity last night and it did not disappoint. We ordered the margarita, which was dangerously good, albeit a bit pricy, but all the ingredients were higher shelf products. We ordered the guacamole which to our surprise was chunks of avocado that we could mash to our liking. The chips were a smaller portion, but that prevented you from over indulging before the main course. My wife had the steak tacos and they were amazing. Tons of flavor with robust tortillas that did not fall apart. I had the chimichanga and the street corn. The chicken in the chimichanga was the best I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant, so moist, juicy, and flavorful. The street corn was amazing too, but the chimichanga was so large I did not need a side to accompany. The service was good and attentive without being overbearing.A couple things to keep in mind: It is loud. There were only a couple other tables when we went and we had trouble speaking to one another across the table over the music and additional noise. The prices were higher than a lot of other Mexican options, but I would argue not over priced based on the quality. Lastly, the food did take a little longer than what I am used to for Mexican, but everything was fresh made, not something that is pre-made and slapped together. They have a large outdoor area so I am hoping that when the weather gets nice that will be well utilized. To summarize If you are looking for a cheap Mexican restaurant with big bowl margaritas and over cooked sloppy dishes, this is not your place. If you are looking for flavorful hand crafted dishes with big portions, I would check it out.

My sister and I decided to try out Mamacita's on a busy Saturday evening. Majority of times you can never go wrong when it comes to Mexican food! The drinks were good and they come in super fun glasses, but they seem a bit on the pricey side. My recommendation off the bat is to just go in and order a pitcher to share, haha! There was a back up of orders in the kitchen which resulted in a bit of a delay in service/receiving our food. No real complaints there tho as we don't get out too often and we get it, stuff happens. In terms of the food, my sister's chimichanga was the way to go! Now the mahi tacos I ordered...I had a lot more confidence in. I just wasn't a huge fan. They kind of reminded me of reheated fish sticks or something and I'm normally down for a solid fish stick. Gorton's is usually a staple in our house. The vibe of the place is really cute and the staff is attentive! If I didn't bring my son along, we probably would have snagged a seat a bit earlier at the bar.

2nd time here and 2/2 on a great experience! Great service and great food! I had the Selena margarita and enjoyed the hint of sweetness. The guac is delicious and might be my favorite right now. It's just so fresh! This time I got el pastor tacos, and they were fantastic! So much flavor and topping them with the smokey salsa is the chef's kiss. Awesome place to have some good drinks and good eats!

Tried Mamacita's one night with my husband. It was busy when we went but we did not have to wait. We went during happy hour on a Friday which wasn't too bad. Food and drinks weren't bad, I was a bit disappointed that for a happy hour my sangria was still expensive / did not qualify for happy hour. It was alright but not something I would rush to try again.

A NICER MEXICAN OPTION! When I found out about Mamacita's being new to the cranberry, Mars, Seven Fields area I knew I had to check them out. As a Mexican food lover, I'm always excited when there is a New Mexican restaurant option. Mamacitas is located in the Adams Ridge Shops so super convenient location to the area. I will warn you though if it's a Friday night or weekend prepare to wait!My husband ordered the steak tacos, I ordered the chipotle chicken and We both really enjoyed our food! He got a house margarita and I got coconut and I definitely enjoyed his over mine. (I was bummed because I LOVE Tako's coconut marg - iykyk!). Overall it was a great new spot and definitely feels more upscale than some of the other Mexican chains around - a more "modern Mexican," if you will. Pros: carne asada and chicken tacos were very good, we loved the chipotle salsa, and the restaurant itself is nice.Cons: we went on a Friday evening so the wait was long, the service was okay but not great because of how busy it was, chips and salsa are not complimentary, and I didn't love my coconut margarita but my husband's house margarita was pretty great! Give Mamacita's a try and I hope this review helped!

Thrilled to have a new restaurant in this spot. We have dined here twice since it opened and I can definitely say we will be back!A few favorites so far - the street corn (wow!), the Tres leches cake (best I've ever had), and the chorizo queso (not just runny cheese). The guac is a huge serving and is very chunky so you have to mash it yourself. Tons of fresh ingredients and after adding salt it is really good. The chimichanga is served with cheese sauce and tasty. I didn't love that beans and rice were inside the chimichanga, but it was still good. The fajitas were tasty. The steak tacos - loved the crispy cheese! The birria tacos - great flavor and the broth is so tasty - I only wish the shells were a little crispy like some other places have them. The margaritas are good, but never very big and not very strong. The entire place is PINK! Super cute vibe. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work! We will be back!

Everytime I have been here, it has been good. They have a good kids menu. The gauc is great! I was not a huge fan of the steak in my steak tacos. My chimichanga was huge and delish, a lil kick to the chicken. And the fajitas were good. My friends have loved their meals also and their margs. The service has been great. And the atmosphere is nice

The margaritas were good. Very pricey for the size. Very slow service and food was mediocre. Very crowded and rude patrons.
