Fantastic bakery! Recommend the breakfast sandwich- any combination!Pepperoni rolls... wow and the cinnamon rolls.. can't say enough. But get there early for Breakfast Sandwiches.. they do run out. Service is fast and friendly. It's a cute bakery that smells so yummy- obviously.

I was back in Saxonburg today for work and was so excited to stop here again! I got the apple hand pie which is bigger than my hand!!! I got a few other cookies too but the hand pie was the main event! Service with a smile just like my first time! I cannot wait to return!

Love this bakery. Cannot help but to get the Lemmon or Raspberry Bars every time I visit. Their breakfast sandwiches are awesome. My husband's favorite is the hand pies. Friendly and speedy service.

Primarily, don't rely on GPS to get you there, I think they moved, . So we ordered the cake, at minimum, a month before the party. I explained to the woman at the counter that, though it's in July, my 3 year old wanted a Halloween party. I told her that the decorator could take whatever liberties she/he wanted, but a spider was the primary thing. A "spider cake" is a running joke with my toddler and I, as every time we make a cake together, I always have to decorate a spider on it for her. I said this pretty firmly. She assured me it would be done, and my cake would be ready by noon. I told her that was great and to specify that the party was at 2. The morning of the party, i called at their opening to pay in full over the phone, one less thing to worry about. I get a call back a few minutes later from the bakery. The woman asked if they can push back my pick up time to 1. I told them that our party was at 2 and we lived 30 minutes away, but if it had to be done, then so be it. I get it, Saturday's are busy in a bakery. But... She then said they could do 12:30. I thanked her and said that was awesome, and thanked her. A few minutes later, I had a voicemail from the bakery saying that they were starting my cake immediately, no late pickup was needed, and would call when it was done. So at 12:20 I still hadn't heard from them, and told my husband just to drive there and be ready. They didn't call back until 12:48 to say it was ready, so even later than the agreed late pickup. When my husband brought the cake home, I saw that it was not well-decorated in general. The airbrushing was pretty sloppy, the pumpkin wasn't super great either. Those are Karen things to complain about. But the spider! The spider was not present! There are spiderwebs, but a spider was supposed to be the main purpose of it. Luckily, I had some spider cupcake pucks on hand that I stuck in it (as seen in the photo) so she was still happy. It just sucks because we paid extra than we would have elsewhere just so we could have this custom spider cake. The cake itself was really good! That's why I'm not giving less stars. But it just really made me sad that very few things discussed were delivered. Overall, great bakery for flavors, but not on timing or attention to detail.

As I was wandering down Main St in Saxonburg I came across this little bakeshop. I was literally blown away by the size of their pastries and some of their desserts.Everything in store is homemade and ranges from $1.00 to $3.50. The most popular item is their cinnamon roll all covered in that gooey sauce but a heaping portion would be too much for one sitting. Most of the items are available for take out and the lady does wrap your purchase in one of those bakery boxes. I was glancing at the salted caramel pastries, danishes, when I stumbled upon an apple donut covered in apples and cream made to resemble an apple pie. For $1.50 you can't go wrong here. I purchased it and the lady was kind enough for me to eat it there. They have a picnic table inside and she gave me utensils to cut it with. Believe me every bite felt like heaven! I was literally blown away when I saw the size of the candy filled cookies-much bigger than I had seen anywhere else. After I finished my delectable treat I was going to order takeout for the cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin but the lady didn't hear me when I called. All the more reason to return next time I'm in the area. Please note shop is only open till 3 but for homemade treats at a very reasonable price you can't go wrong.Free on street parking is available on Main St for up to 2 hours.

I ordered gourmet cupcakes from this bakery, and there was nothing gourmet about them. They were sloppy, the bake was inconsistent (some were very dark with biscuit like texture), they weren't filled, and they didn't taste like the flavors I requested at all. Many were dark, almost burnt. They are not consistent in size or uniformity either. The only thing "salted caramel" on the salted caramel cupcake was the small cookie on top. Otherwise it was just a vanilla cupcake. The "Almond raspberry" had a SKIM of raspberry icing under the vanilla buttercream icing, some had NO raspberry at all. The "cookie dough" cupcake icing looked like it was just plopped on top with a spatula, and again, otherwise just a vanilla cupcake.Very disappointing for $25/dozen!!!
