Main Moon Chinese Restaurant

Well thisnplace is a gem. Dont be decieved by the outside, the inside is clean and tidy! Service was fast and friendly and most importantly the foid was amazing! Eggrolls are crispy and not greasy! Hot and sour soup was delish, wontin was excellent. Lemon chicken was plentiful abd all white meat. Shrimp were huge with chinese veggies. Hot and fresh. We will be back! Thank you!

Honestly, this place gets 5 stars in my book for just existing in this town! Add on the fact that their food is always good, reasonably priced, and their staff is so friendly--I wish I could give them 6 stars. Their menu basically has everything you could want when you crave Chinese food. My favorite are their fried dumplings! But remember this place is CASH ONLY.

I pretty much only go to Chinese restaurants when I'm craving some General Tso's. I gave it several chances, but after 4 or 5 times of the same thing, I won't be going back. The General Tso's is always dried out. There have been several pieces that I've bitten into that have not had any meat inside them at all- they were like a tiny version of the Christmas turkey on Nat'l Lampoons Christmas Vacation- when the bird cracks open and nothing but steam comes out. Even the pieces that were not completely dried up were the worst attempt at General Tso's that I've ever had....all 4 or 5 times. I now drive 20 minutes the other direction to China Chef in Bellwood, they have excellent food.Also, something to keep in mind if you do go to Main Moon, they only accept cash. They don't tell you that on the phone though, so if you call in and order for takeout and then walk there with only your debit card in your wallet, you'll be in for a frustrating surprise like I was.

Probably the best thing in town. Great tasting Chinese food for the price and location. Eaten here many times, they're always nice and get your food done on time.

I'm an Indonesian Chinese and my grandpa was a cook for his restaurant in Indonesia. Rarely I found a good Chinese restaurant in America and Europe with affordable price. But I have to say this restaurant is a good restaurant and tasty food. I ate their food yesterday with my sister in-law, she lives in Tyrone. And I have to say..it was tasty !!!

People are nice. The food- not so much! Egg rolls were over cooked and loaded with cooking oil. Steak with mushrooms overcooked as well. Sauce was odd and very dark. Steak dry and tough. Everything tastes like old grease. My 3rd try here. Never again.

If you like quick, greasy, heavily breaded american-chinese food this is your place.The fried rice was greasy and left a coating of grease in your mouth. Spring roll was soggy inside; do not order. Gen-So was mostly breaded. Definitely comes out of a bag, deep fried, sauce added with a few pieces broccoli added. (I trashed it.) My daughter did like her Beef Lo Mein but the greasy mouthfeel was there as well. Disappointing.

Best chinese food in a 100 mile radius. Never disappoints. Fresh and delicious. The Eggrolls are 20/10. Great service also.

If you enjoy a desert like entrée then you will like this place. I ordered something that was supposed to be spicy and I was assured that it would be.When I got home then I found out just how sweet it was. I could barely taste the spice and it was unbearably sweet. I have never had a spicy dish that was so incredibly sweet.
