I had the chicken pita sandwich/wrap and it was delicious. I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing but I did and was worth sacraficing dinner for.:). The folks behind the counter and the register were very nice. It looked like there was some seating but many folks were taking their orders to go. It was a very casual environment.

Stopped here for lunch during jury duty and would definitely go back. The business was calm and casual, with absolutely delicious food. The hummus was smooth and flavorful, and the falafel were soft and crunchy. The staff were friendly to the lunch crowd stopping in as well as the multitude of delivery people.

Wanted to try a new place for lunch away from the office. This place was full and the menu looked good. I stepped up and ordered the mixed platter with chicken shawarma, lamb gyro meat and rice and green beans. They helped use a sauce with not garlic as I had a meetin later in the afternoon. The lunch box gets ready quick, the owner handled the payment, they do charge a bit more for CC so ended up using cash to save on the CC fee which is passed onto the Customer.Found a table near the window, also got a cup for water which was nice of them to provide. The place kept getting busier which is a good sign that there are loyal Customers.I really enjoyed the lamb gyro meat and the green beans. The chicken shawarma was dry and I found it hard to finish, unfortunately had to throw half away. But overall they give you a large pirtion of food, I did double check and the server confirmed the meat was halal.I may go back and try the lamb gyro next time. That seemed to be a good option.

I'm surprised I've never reviewed this spot. It's been one of my go-to downtown lunch locations for years. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The owner is always pleasant and truly seems to value his customers and appreciate their business.I'm a vegetarian and always order the same thing, a generous, five-piece falafel entrée which comes with two sides. I always get the loubieh, which are green beans in a savory tomato sauce, and tabbouleh, which is delicious and fresh. They add a few pieces of pita and I usually add a cup of their delicious hummus. It's a large amount of food for a very fair price; this meal costs about $12 in total which is less than I pay for much smaller portions elsewhere.I work nearby and usually take my food to go, but there is ample seating both on the main floor and downstairs. They get a good lunch crowd, showing that this downtown gem is well-known and appreciated by the locals.

The food was absolutely amazing, and you cannot beat the price. The person working there, I don't know if it was the owner or just a worker, but he was super joyful, full of energy and helping me decide what to get since it was my first time there. He also made sure to really fill my plate which I loved. Im definitely going to come back soon and bring others with me. If you are downtown and are looking for amazing Mediterranean food, for a great price and an awesome staff, you should check out this place.

The food was absolutely delicious! A hidden downtown gem! Everyone working was super lovely and friendly. The food was prepared super quickly and tasted amazing! I will definitely be coming back here. I love the inside of this place. It's very cute and quaint. Also some of the best hummus is served here.

A lunch visit. Overall, it was nothing spectacular. Get in line, tell 'em what you want, scoops of meat or side goes into the "to-go" box then a ziploc'd bag of two pita pieces are added to the box. With so many business closed down for convenient Gyros (called Gy-ro here in Pittsburgh but yee-ro is still what I call it), went with co-workers for a bite at a different place. My gyro meat was on the dry side and the falafel balls were crunchy. It would have been nice is it was shaved off from a revolving cone into a pita bread like I am used to; could be the reason it was dry?One time try for me.

Madonnas is delicious and I was so happy I found this lunch place while visiting Pittsburgh. The chicken shawarma is shaved from the rotisserie right there in front of you, and covered with the best garlic sauce (toum is the name of it I believe), and I paired it with baba ghanoush and rice. Definitely get the rice with the shawarma, and you'll probably appreciate an extra side of garlic sauce if you're as crazy about it as I am. The baba ghanoush was perfect too - smoky and creamy. The workers are so sweet here. I think it was a husband and wife, probably the owners, who served me. As soon as you walk in this place, the smell, vibe, and steady line tell you that you found a special gem. I was in heaven. I had to park in a parking garage to get here, but luckily it was on the other side of the same block, and was well worth the $12.
