An exquisite cake that couldn't have been more fitting. Great taste. Great decorations. Great customer service. Not cheap, but worth everything damn penny. Will be returning for sure

First time customer here. Ordered a custom cake for my sons 8 th birthday online. The cake looked PERFECT! The customer service was stellar. The cake itself was fresh, moist, the icing was light , fluffy and not over sugary like other bakeries or grocery store chains. I will definitely be a returning loyal customer, over and over. THANKS for making my sons birthday a little bit sweeter!!Jenn

I attempted to plan an appointment with this bakery to taste test some cakes for my wedding. When my fiancé and I went in the lady at the counter was rude and short with us. She brushed us off and said that they won't even speak to us until we are 6 months out. The lady at the counter seemed very stuck up and did not want any business from us. Rest assured if I wanted over priced cakes with snippy customer service this would be my first stop. It's not easy planning a wedding with us living out of town and coming home once a month or so to do planning. Lincoln bakery down in Bellevue and Dudt's bakeries in Wexford didn't give us any trouble and were extremely helpful.

If you're looking for a specialty cake, don't look any further, this is your place! An article in the local paper led my mom to seek out a consultation to prepare a 60th birthday cake for my Dad. Nancy, the proprietor, was very easy to work with and remained in budget while producing a quality cake. At the consultation, Nancy asked for my Dad's interests and likes and created a cake that embodied those things. He loves F1 so a car cake was a natural fit. He loves to read so she crafted a replica of a current book he was reading on the cake. He enjoys shooting so a target was also added. He's a pediatric ophthalmologist who performs lots of surgeries on "crossed-eyes" so crossed eyes were also added to the cake. This session was basically information gathering. There was a short tasting involved featuring a white cake and a chocolate cake. The cake ended up being chocolate and vanilla with fudge center. There were a ton of more creative options for cake and filling though. Nancy crafted the wheels out of rice Krispy treats covered with black fondant. She even added in two carrot cake cupcakes as that is my dads favorite dessert. As you can see from the accompanying pictures, Nancy did a phenomenal job and although my Dad knew about the party being thrown in his honor, the cake was certainly the surprise of the night!

I had 2 cakes made for a combined retirement & 60th birthday celebration. Nancy, the owner was overly accommodating & easy to work with. Her cakes are stunning & detailed. I supplied her with rough cake design templates & she created master pieces. They were so beautiful we didn't want to cut into them. She is simply an artist! On top of her cake artistry, her cakes are delicious. Most of our guests stated the cakes were the best they'd ever tasted! I highly recommend this business for the most spectacular cakes not only for the design but also for their deliciousness! I can thank Nancy enough for helping make my event special.

About a month before my son's board-game-themed wedding rehearsal dinner, I realized that we needed a cake that would tie it all together. I emailed Madison Ave cakes to see if they could make a cake based on my kid's favorite obscure game (Isle of Cats) that he had taught to everyone in the wedding party. Well, Nancy came through in the most amazing way. The cake was absolutely perfect! When I saw it that morning, I knew it was going to be a good day. She took the very basic vision I gave her and executed it in exactly the way I was hoping. And the whole wedding party loved the details and humor that it added to the day. (Not to mention that not only did it look good, it also tasted fantastic!) Hoping I'll have a reason to work with Madison Ave Cakes again in the future!

The buttercream icing had a very weird flavor to it. The cake itself was moist but had no flavor. I paid $60 for a tiny cake and I threw more than half of it away. I do not recommend.

Woman owned amazing bakery - exceptional designs, taste, service, and quality. Nancy is a true artist. Her cakes have been the highlight of my parties for 5 years!

Stunning, elegant & just what I wanted for my babies baptism! One stop shop and they took care of everything, even had it delivered. Love this place!
