Mac's Donut Shop

Stopped in for my first visit on a Friday morning. They have a small-ish parking lot with maybe 10-15 spots (including the CPA business next door). The interior of the shop is a decent size, with both table and window seating available. They had way more donut options than I was expecting and it was honestly difficult to choose! I went with a chocolate iced custard filled donut and an apple fritter. The prices are more than fair for the quality of the food. The custard donut was SO good. It was super fresh and had plenty of custard filling and icing on top. The staff were super friendly and quick to take customer's orders. I saw several people getting half dozens and dozens. It's worth noting that they have a card minimum of $5. I'd definitely come back again for a sweet treat for myself and/or a box to go for a party or an event.

Mac's doughnuts are always so tasty, fresh, and delicious. We were going to the Steelers home opener, and we decided to take Mac's to the tailgate. Everyone was so excited, and the doughnuts were gone within minutes!

Greatest selection, flavor and texture. One of the top donut joints in all of PA. Lovely service, cheap prices... perfect breakfast heaven.

This little donut shop has been a family favorite for decades! My family used to go here every Sunday after church and we all had our favorites. For my sister and my dad, it had to be the long johns... Cream filled of course! When I was a kid I really enjoyed the cinnamon buns and the "long glazed twist." My sister would probably say that my taste became more refined as an adult because I'm now a convert to the long John worship. Every time we come home we have to stop in here. The long Johns are just perfect... The cream inside is light and fluffy, and the chocolate layer is just thick enough to not overpower the taste of the donut. No matter what kind you choose, you can always expect one thing from this place -- they will be so fresh! This place is been around a long time... And has even survived the addition of another donut shop in the area because it's just simply the best! Definitely check this place out as soon as possible... you'll be VERY glad you did!

Amazing freshly made donuts !! Service was very good , the lady that served me Mrs. Michael Ann is the best worker I always see when I go in . Best time to go is in the morning and warning now weekends are always busy !!

This place is a hidden gem for anyone who didn't grow up in the Aliquippa area. As someone who grew up in the North Hills, I had never heard of Mac's, but boy do I wish I had! The donuts here are so fresh and will give your taste buds such a pleasure! I swear they sprinkle a bit of magic in their dough, because lately food has not tasted as good when choosing to eat out. These donuts are certainly the exception to that and really smack! They always have enough people behind the counter ready to help you and you can get in and out very quickly. The front of the store isn't much to look at from the outside, but on the inside, you get transported back to the good old days where everything was a simpler time. Don't get me started on the smells. I am not even a big breakfast eater but my mouth was watering by the time I had paid for my donuts. The biggest surprise for me was their giant cream cheese icing cinnamon rolls. So good initially on the first day. Ours got a little stale on day two but no worries, just pop them in the air fryer and they come back to life and might be even better this way! Highly recommend grabbing one of those and adding it to your box.
