Never been here before, decided to try on a whim glad we did. Place was clean. The staff was very very friendly and seated immediately. The food was incredible. I got the corn beef hash bowl usually when you ask for corned beef hash you get the canned stuff from hormel This was actually fresh corned beef. It was amazing if you're in the Bethel Park area I suggest try it out. They're open till seven most nights.

Food/Price is reasonable! They were welcoming and attentive. Always made sure to check on us. Just a Classic simple diner. They offer a wide range of breakfast and lunch options. Looks like any other diner but with inspirational quotes. It's small and homey.

The service is excellent! I was so happy to be here to get breakfast. I got the veggie omelette, which is fantastic! Everybody, including the other customers, is friendly and sweet. They had lobster bisque today, but I can't digest cream. Desolet!Still my favorite diner after all these years.

This place is exactly what you want in a diner. It's an old fashioned diner where you get honest, tasty food for the right price delivered by friendly staff. You order corned beef hash? You get nice thick slices of corned beef. Love this place.

I went here today for the first time. It is a nice place. They had a meatloaf special which is what I had. The food came out piping hot. The mashed potatoes are real potatoes. The waitresses are very nice. It is a small diner with not a lot of seating. They have a couple tables outside if you would like to sit and eat outside. I recommend this place.

Ma & Pops Country kitchen is a small diner in Bethel Park. There is not much seating but if you come solo then you can probably grab a place at the counter. People turnover is fast since they do try to get everyone serviced quickly.Breakfast is served all day however, you can order lunch or dinner if you arrive after 11. I was contemplating getting the liver dinner since I don't see liver on menus that often but when I learned that one of the daily specials was meat loaf, mashed potatoes and corn I decided to go with that.Portion sizes are generous and my food came out fairly quickly. The meat loaf patties and potatoes were covered in gravy. Since it was a lunch portion I was able to finish it. The meat loaf was soft and tender to cut and eat, the mashed potatoes came out cold originally but they remedied that for me and in a little bit of time I had a piping hot meal. It was a typical meat loaf and the mashed potatoes were indeed made from scratch. They were very good.I was chatting with another customer who usually gets steak and eggs. They looked good and he told me how much he really enjoys them. The waitress staff appears to know the "regulars" who dine here and address them by name. Cash is the preferred method of payment since there is a small sign welcoming cash tips. In addition if you pay with a credit card they will pass the card fee on to you so look carefully at your check. I definitely want to return here to try their liver and onions. Located on South Park Rd in Bethel Park, they have their own parking lot.

I'm not from here and here to visit with family. My Dad and I wanted to try something different for lunch. He lives in the area and has never been, I've been driving past it and had no idea it was there. You might say to yourself this is some rinky dink little hole in the wall but do yourself a favor and go in.This is a DINER in the truest sense of the world, no nonsense, ten tables and long line of counter service and take out, big portions. Someone is doing something right cause they have regulars a plenty.Servers are friendly, helpful and fun. The owner was in attendance and he's a complete character but he loves his place and is grateful for the business and for people coming in.Now on to the food, sorry kids I did not take any food photos but I will tell you this, if you leave hungry it's on you.I ordered for my Dad a cup of the soup of the day (they had two) the tomato soup. He let me try it, to me tomato soup can taste like a sugar bomb in the worst way. This was savory and delicious and homemade.I get the feeling everything here is homemade or brought in by local purveyors. Dad than got a grilled chicken salad w/ out fries on it this is something I've never seen before but let's go with it. No fries but it had mixed lettuces, tomato's, green peppers, cucumbers and the grilled chicken that was piping hot, and some cheese on it. He said it was delicious and we brought a bit of it home it was a huge salad.I got the 5oz Mushroom Burger with Provolone on it with all the fixings. (Lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion) I should have asked for a side of mayo but that's on me. The fries were more shoestring, but hot and crispy I could see them with a steak for steak frites.I'm glad I only got the 5 Oz it was a big burger and the softest bun was it brioche or? It was all delicious. This place is tiny so be aware, food is solid, ambiance is like your friends kitchen that hangs up all these positive thoughts on the wall and they have regulars. You can get breakfast until 3 pm.This place is a real gem and when I'm back in the area I will bring my husband to check it out. Please don't discount this place, it's not big on formality. You seat yourself, your server is pleasant and the food tasty. The owner ever said to us he was glad we came in and in these uncertain times that's what you need...some kindness. They have parking on site.Give them a whirl gotta support a little local spot. You know I'll be back.

This place is fabulous. Good old traditional breakfast with huge portions and wonderful staff. I don't know what the wait is like in the mornings, but 12:30 on a Saturday wasn't bad. It's a pretty casual place, not very big, but a family of 6 wouldn't be an issue.
