Lucy's Riverside Cafe

While here in town my sister took me to Lucys. What a cute little spot!Upon first look you'll probably find the daily specials posted out front. Man was it hard to pass up those Chocolate Peanut Butter pancakes. Pancakes are a fan favorite of mine.There were so many good options on the menu but I couldn't pass up the Roast Beef Hash. With all the tasty treats, we'll surely be going back!

IT'S NOW THE BRICKYARD RESTAURANT AND BETTER!Met the family and the owner reopened his freshly cleaned ckitchen just to make me to of their amazing po boy sandwiches. Can't get them outta my head. Atmosphere, service, food. What more could u ask for? Local ingredients, always fresh. Stop by u won't regret it. They're there on Freeport's Community Market days every month with amaxing specials and outdoor dining every month. Great ppl.

Expensive. Excessive waits. Lackluster service. Not worth stopping. Sad. Eva use I like to support local businesses.

I was in town visiting my mother and took her to Lucy's for lunch. This was our first time and it has a very charming ambience and a friendly waitstaff. The food was served hot and presented on colorful and unique dishes which was a really nice touch. Our meal was excellent and my mother still raves about her sandwich, The Rachel, which is a different take on a Rueben substituting turkey and coleslaw in lieu of corned beef and sauerkraut. Next visit we are definitely going there for breakfast as the menu looks incredible!

Very much enjoyed the breakfast and can't wait to go back and try the homemade soup. Very nice place and close to home! Great experience.

Old building (a little musty) but neat little place in Freeport that serves homemade items. Wedding soup is a bit odd as it had no pasta but the meatballs in it were outstanding as well as the broth and vegetables. Breakfast sandwich on a wrap was delicious. Turkey breast sandwich was on a heart bread with sliced deli turkey, stuffing and jellied cranberry sauce and tasted great. We took a piece of wonderful peach pie home with us. Looking. Forward to trying the breakfasts here.

Canned soup and crappy food all for a not so bargain price. Its a no from me. A big fat hell no.

Great breakfast!! Hot fresh, great service. Small diner, but a warm place in the winter.

Fabulous salmon! Some of the best I have had. Highly recommended. Seasoned with just salt and pepper and pan seared - I asked the chef for her recipe. I hope I'm able to replicate at home!

I just love going to Lucy's Riverside, I call ahead and when I arrive my table & my decaf coffee is freshly brewed. Every thing I have ordered was wonderful, I love not being rushed and being allowed to have a very relaxing meal. I love taking new friends there!Linda M
