Lucia's All American Hot Dog & Catering

I stumbled upon Lucia's after having a few drinks at Acacia in the SouthSide. They are there on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Allen and his wife were fantastic. Such nice people. I had a Vienna hot dog and it was delicious. Everything I want in a hot dog vendor. I a bit bias though as they have the same last name as my Italian family who is also from New Jersey and Palermo. Allen told me about the meatballs he makes that are his grandmothers recipe. I can't wait to come back and try them to see if they are as good as my grandmothers! Don't pass Lucia's up! They are totally worth stopping for!

Lucia's was hired to cater a private party, while they were professional upon hire, prior to the event they were paid in full for their services and a rather large amount of food. The remaining food should have been left with the party host but the business owners chose to take it with them & when confronted about a refund or having the remaining food returned, the owners refused both options and responded that was not their policy, although no policy is listed on their website or provided upon their hiring. Additionally, many of the guests refused to eat the food provided as they were offended by the political propaganda the owners chose to display on their cart, which in this reviewers opinion has no place when providing services, whatever a business owners' political affiliation.
