Los Amigos

Came on a recommendation from a friend in passing through new castle en route to Boardman. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The dinner for 2 was too enticing to pass up as it was the best way to try new things without a La carte. $16 for the entire photo. Solid flavor (low on salt which I prefer as I can always add at table). Leaned all beef feeling other than the tamale for a platter that large but otherwise I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Would be nice to have at least something with carnitas for example to show off that note.

Seated fast, attended to fast, served fast, great food! What more can you ask for! My fiancé and I eat here 3 to 4 times a month, have not been disappointed once!

Really clean , spacious cute restaurant with fast and friendly service . Salsa and refried beans were A+++. I had the seafood burrito. The cheese sauce was delicious but seafood was not really very good . Lacked flavor and was dry. Hubby had chicken fajitas he said they were just ok . My mom had an Al a carte chicken burrito and my dad ordered the chicken burrito plate . I tried a bite and we all agreed it was good but too salty . Rice was just ok too - Cooked properly but bland . We love Mexican food and we liked it enough to go back , but definitely wasn't great .

Absolutely LOVE Los Amigos! I have yet to get anything that wasn't good from them, and we have ordered quite a bit. The only time was our own fault, as we took the food home rather than having it there, and the tacos we ordered got soggy. But again, that wasn't their fault in the slightest. The staff are wonderful, and attentive to your needs. The coffee however will grow hair on your chest, so be warned. lol But so good! I do not drink alcohol, so I cannot offer up anything about their drinks but the tea, and pop/soda are fine. lol I highly recommend Los Amigos! The restaurant is huge inside, so your not sitting on each other either. Very clean. Lots of fun, great lighting (so you can see the food), and welcoming atmosphere. So do yourself a favor and check them out! Oh and huge portions for the price!

I love love love Los Amigos! Their service is the best! My DH travels for a living and made a point to tell the owner that he hasn't had better service than theirs - ANYWHERE. I love the Molkajete is awesome. The tacos, any meat, either America or traditional are delicious. They are constantly busy but they work it and you never feel rushed or compromised.

Food was great! Margs it the spot. Service was very friendly. They checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Restaurant was very clean and brightly lit. Fun little vibe they've got there. Would recommend.

Not really authentic Mexican food but fast and attentive service. Atmosphere is a very open and very very casual. It feels very busy.
