We found this cute place while running errands. It's perfectly placed in fox chapel plaza among shops that are already on your Saturday to do list. Stop in for a quick bite, a delicious treat and/or smiling faces. We always get their chocolate chip cookie no matter what. They have fresh pumpkin bread baked daily and yummy hot chocolate (perfect for those afternoon rainy days here in Pittsburgh.)

We love Loafers. Items we keep returning for include their sunflower whole wheat, apple pie, apple Brown Betty, scones, egg sandwiches on Challah. All loaves are unsliced but they will slice them for you if you ask which I do as we don't seem to be able to cut even slices. Staff are always wonderful.

A-ok. Came here on a Saturday morning while we were waiting for our car to get inspected across the street. This place reminded me of a small-time Panera Bread. They have a variety of breads, pastries, and sandwiches. While I have no complaints, I also don't have any compliments. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the hubby ordered a turkey bacon sandwich. We also got a lemon blueberry scone. The sandwiches were okay, nothing I couldn't make at home and the scone was just alright. Everything was just average for me.

I've gotten lunch from here a few times .. never disappointed. Tuna and chicken salads are yummy and freshly home made. The breads are fresh and wonderful. Sandwich might be a little more stuffed..but I come from NY and am used to deli sandwiches. I will keep coming here and getting lunches

My favorite find since I moved down here! The staff is always friendly and helpful! They are knowledgeable about their products and are quick to offer suggestions when I'm unsure of what to get. The breads are always fresh and delicious and sweets always hit the spot! Definitely a great local business. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely delicious and unique assortment of fresh baked bread, muffins, scones, cookies, you get the idea. They're also a mill so they mill their own flour! Salads, soups and sandwiches too. Pumpkin bread and cinnamon swirl are must try's!

There is no way to go wrong at Loafers Bread Co. We have been buying their bread for years now and recently have discovered their scones, pies and muffins as well as their breads are just so delicious. The pumpkin bread, and pumpkin bread are must-trys. This is a small shop full of BIG flavor and a very friendly staff.

This place used to be my favorite. But the staff is not friendly at all! They don't even great you when you walk in. They just stand there and look at you. It's like you are troubling them! Sandwiches are ok but expensive.Bread is good but not bursting with flavor. When getting sandwiches make sure you ask for thick cut bread. Otherwise you may get paper thin bread. It's just a shame because they have such a great location and I'd go here once a week. But I'm just so turned off by the poor rude service!

I stopped here for lunch last week. It's lacking in the customer service department, all the teenagers that were working seemed inconvenienced. I tried to order several lunch items and they were out of them, but didn't bother to erase them from the board so people wouldn't keep trying to order. I got half a sandwich and a cup of soup. I must have gotten what was in the bottom of the soup pot because it was all broth and nothing else. My sandwich was THE thinnest sandwich I have ever seen. The bread was fine. The customer service at the Freeport Road location left a lot to be desired. I made a point of saying that I had never been there before so it would have been a great time to make a sale.
