LJ's Hoagie King

Good classic hoagies. My boyfriend lives in the neighborhood so we stopped in to get a sandwich fix. This place is clearly an establishment for locals. They have "Bug Juice." Fascinating. I've had their Turkey sandwich to go two times now and it really is tasty. ---They have their own parking lot. Don't be deterred by the person who lives next door who is collecting a bunch of junk. That's apparently just a thing that dude does.

Love this place!!! (I grew up in the neighborhood) the new owner is awesome and she takes care of her local Firefighters The sandwiches are GOOD and they offer specials daily.. It's great place to stop and have lunch with a friend

Meatball sub is great! My dad really likes all their hoagies! No complaints and welcoming service!

I've been going here for as long as I can remember and it's one of my favorite places to eat in Wheeling. The beer battered fries with gravy is a must have!

A hidden gem in wheeling! The hoagies are great and so are the beer battered fries. Not the fanciest of places but the food is great. I always enjoy it!

I had a call in and 1st of all the girl "couldn't hear me" instead of asking politely for me to call back she was talking to someone and saying "I can't hear her this is crap". So I go in to pick up 4 whole hoagies and pay with my American Express Card, to my amazement she said "we do not accept AE and never had. I don't know why he keeps it on the door." I said that I go in there at least once a month and ALWAYS pay with AE I even have all the receipts that show it. I get to work and the steak hoagie had no lettuce or no tomatoes. The same hoagie I have gotten before had both and I didn't ask it just came on it. So disappointed in this place. Get your story straight, either you do or don't accept American Express......(Even if I do have proof that you DO!!!!!!!!!

Best cheese steak in the area! All their food is great and the prices are fantastic. Looking for just good food, this is the place.
