Excited to try this new restaurant in North Hills. Went in and ordered Pho and Vermicelli with a side of fresh Kimchi.

Great find. The menu is almost entirely focused on banh mi, rice bowls, rice vermicelli bowls, and pho but the ingredients are fresh and the execution is excellent. The banh mi was flavorful and well presented, with a particularly crusty baguette. It could have used a few more pickled vegetables, but was otherwise great. The "summer rolls" (fresh rolls) were a somewhat distinct format, with open ends on either side. Either way, both the spring rolls and corresponding dipping sauce were delicious. We specifically requested a vermicelli bowl with egg and extra veggies, and it was perfectly balanced: lots of fresh vegetables with just enough vermicelli in the bottom. Also: try the cucumber salad. It's a nice refreshing addition to other potentially heavy items. The actual restaurant is a tiny space in a larger strip mall, but it was very nicely decorated and clean with very friendly service. It seemed like exactly the type of operation I like to support. They really seem to care about solid execution and service.

I had the Bahn Mi and Café Sua Da, I wish I would have taken a photo but I couldn't put it down. The bread was fresh with the right amount of crunch. I opted for spicy and added a nice kick. All the ingredients are fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend checking out Little Viet Kitchen when in the area. Service was great and attentive while they had hip music playing at the right volume.

I stopped by here a couple of Fridays ago with my wife and twins for dinner. We had found out about Little Viet Kitchen via Yelp and I was happy to see that we had a Vietnamese restaurant in the North Hills. This restaurant is located in the plaza with Target and Giant Eagle right where 19 and McKnight Road meet. It's takeout only and my wife and I placed an order online for a specific time. When we arrived a little after that time my wife ran in and got it and so I can't comment on how it looks. For dinner on this day I decided to get a classy chick vermicelli bowl while my wife went with the drunken beef vermicelli bowl and we ordered our twins the chicken Pho. My bowl here was pretty good and I enjoyed the flavor of the chicken. The carrots and other vegetables helped provide a fresh flavor to it and the sauce I poured over the top helped to add a bit of saltiness which I appreciated. My wife's bowl was similarly good and I thought that her drunken beef was super flavorful. Last but certainly not least was the pho which my daughter loved. She ate a ridiculous amount of the broth, which tasted nicely of chicken and lemongrass, for a 2 year old.The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our bowls here and I only wish that the portion sizes were a little bigger.

Our takeaway family dinner from Little Viet Kitchen was delicious. It's a small takeout only place in a strip mall, not the kind of restaurant we would normally try. The menu is simple with sandwiches, rice, and noodle dishes. Our group of 6 tried almost everything and there were no disappointments. The place is clean and new, online ordering was efficient, service great and prices quite reasonable. Overall, excellent, thus earning the 4 stars, the highest possible takeout score, based on degree of difficulty. We'll return soon.

Hidden Vietnamese food in a shopping plaza in Wexford!! Recently, I found out that Little Viet Kitchen is the owner's second location up north! The other eatery is Banh Mi and Ti in Lawrenceville. They have the exact menu! The food is out of this world. The protein is flavorful and come in a variety of ways to eat. They have deli pork, beef, chicken, pork belly, marinated pork and vegetarian options. You can pair the protein in a sandwich, rice bowl or dry rice noodle bowl! The Banh Mi is a french baguette filled with marinated meat, pickled veggies and sauce, which is the perfect combination of savory and spices. I tried the Drunken Beef Banh Mi and I could not get enough of it. The beef is slightly sweet but mixes well with the sauce and fresh veggies. I also tried the Pork n Roll (sweet marinated pork with 5 spice) in a rice bowl! The portion was small but enough for a meal. Definitely on the sweeter side, but the pickled carrots, cucumber and tomato cut the sweetness. They also offer pho and a variety of drinks. I had the mint lemonade, which could have had more lemon flavor, but had fresh mint leaves too! The ambiance is casual. And this location is strictly take out. No tables inside at all. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Prices are fair. Looking forward to many more meals!tldrfood 5/5service 4.5/5ambiance 4/5

4.5 stars overall. Little Viet Kitchen is a takeout restaurant that opened in fall 2023 and serves bánh mì (baguette sandwiches), rice bowls, vermicelli bowls, summer rolls, soups, bubble teas, coffees, etcetera. Please see my attached photos for the menu. I am definitely no expert on Vietnamese cuisine, but I always enjoy trying new restaurants, so I convinced my husband to take me here to buy lunch. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the employees and I believe their family members immediately and courteously greeted us. My husband and I ordered several menu items. A short while later, the foods were ready. At home, we ate our meal. Here are my ratings for the foods and drink:Chicken Banh Mi - 5 stars - The baguette was a full size and was fresh and crispy. It was filled with pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, mayo, and my husband's choice of protein of chicken that had been marinated in lemongrass and garlic. We would order this banh mi again in the future.Veggie rice bowl - 4.5 stars - The jasmine rice was steamed perfectly, and it was topped with fresh tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and cabbage. On the side was a small cup of a flavorful sweet sauce.Shrimp summer rolls - 3.5 stars - Each order consisted of two rolls. I could see the shrimps, but their flavor was overshadowed by herbs. My husband described the accompanying sauce as "good."Beef pho - 4.5 stars - This soup contained a very flavorful broth, rice noodles, bean sprouts, onions, basil, and cilantro. Mango tea - 5 stars - I chose a mango flavor with a mango-jelly topping and a small amount of milk. I really enjoyed the flavors of the mango and tea.

I had the chicken pho noodle and it was amazing! Everything was really fresh and delicious. My order was ready in about five minutes after ordering it at the counter and the service was excellent . The place is really small with just a few tables most of their businesses takeout . Highly recommend this place for takeout.

Yum! I love Vietnamese food so I was excited to hear there was a new place to check out,I tried the banh mi and cucumber salad. I love that there are a variety of options for the banh mi meat. I tried the pork n roll which is marinated pork and five spices. It has a lot of flavor. The sandwich was packed with ingredients and the bread had the perfect crunch. The cucumbers were delicious. Still a little crisp with s pretty heavy sesame flavor. The one down side is that there is no dine in. Overall, a tasty, clean and affordable place I'll definitely be visiting again.
