Food was awful. I have never thrown away Chinese food or ever disliked anything I ever ordered at other Chinese restaurants. We got General Taos chicken which basically is a simple dish that tastes pretty much the same anywhere you go. Well not here! The sauce had a tangy/sour taste that was so unpleasant we threw it out. Also, not to mention the pricing at this place is ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend and will never be back.

5 stars because it is the best tasting anglicized best-tasting Chinese just about anywhere let alone the area. Consistency has been there for over 10 years, hard to say that. Speed, you can do lunch in under an hour. Value, it is fair. They are not super nice or mean, but diligent. Tea is good. Tried most of the menu everything is good. The, staple, general tso chic stands out. Worth getting off the highway, locals already know this is the place to go. Never had to wait for a seat because they keep it moving but it gets busy.

Expensive for dinner but the food is really good, especially the sushi. Definitely the best Chinese place in the area.No current inside seating but they make carry out very fast and easy.

It was cold, gray, New Year's Day, and we were about halfway through a 12-hour road trip. And we were hungry.Tired of fast food, we opened Yelp to see what was near us, actually open and recommended along our route. And that's how we found Little Bamboo, a Chinese restaurant tucked back in a strip mall not too far from the interstate. And for the most part, Little Bamboo was just what we needed. We were greeted and shown to a table almost immediately. A plus: Everyone gets free hot tea and crunchy fried wanton strips when they sit down. And to start, I got the wonton soup, inspired by a delicious pic on Yelp. This was my favorite part of my meal and better than most chicken noodle soups that I've had -- even better because I was just starting to get a cold. The broth was perfectly salty and full of flavor, not watered down at all. And the wontons were the perfect size and soft. For my entree I got shrimp lo mein, my Chinese go-to. This wasn't quite as good, though. I feel like I had to douse the noodles in soy sauce to have any flavor. The shrimp were tiny, and the dish came out lukewarm. My husband, his dad and his dad's girlfriend enjoyed their entrees more. I think I may have chosen poorly. I also snuck a few bites of my husband's hunan pork, which was pretty tasty. The service was quick and friendly. And before we knew it we were back on the road, full and much happier.

Little Bamboo was a serendipitous find for us. We were travelling on I-70 and decided to pull off in Belle Vernon for lunch at a chain restaurant in the same plaza. Driving through the parking lot, we spied this place and both the name and appearance of the store front lured us in.And I am glad for it! The inside decor is nice, the service friendly and quick, and the food good. As soon as we were seated, we were served complimentary fried wontons and hot tea. The tea was very good, not weak like I've experienced elsewhere. We were there in time for the lunch menu so we were able to get right-sized portions for less than $7 each!Great place, I look forward to return the next time we travel!

The food was overpriced and mediocre, at best. Admittedly, we got take out because we were staying at a nearby hotel with our dog, though the restaurant itself looks nice and seemed pretty busy.
