The Lilith had been on my list since they opened but I was finally able to give them a try. It was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is small but the vibe is great. The decor is perfect and the space feels warm and intimate. My friend and I got the fancy lobster rolls and oysters and I got the beef and she got the ravioli. Everything was truly so delicious! You do have to order everything at once which was a little different but fine. We did save room for dessert - we got the baked Alaska. It was good but not amazing. But I'd definitely try a different dessert next time. The service was friendly and alternative. If you want a nice dinner with excellent food this is your place.

Holy cow! This place is incredible. Probably one of my top five dining experiences in Pittsburgh. Let me start with how adorable it is inside. You can tell that the design was thought through from the paint color to the chairs to the dishes. It is all so wonderfully put together. There were three of us dining, and we decided to eat family style. We shared four of the appetizers and two of the entrées. We started with the pierogies, blue cheese, shrimp and raclette (not pictured). Each dish that came out was plated better than the next. The shrimp was in a lime and passionfruit sauce with avocado and red onion. The flavor was incredible! The pierogies had a times I sauce that was incredible and they were stuffed full of potatoes! The blue cheese dish was the only one we weren't that into. They made the blue cheese into a flan-like a texture and none of us could get past the texture. For our entrées, we had the ravioli stuffed with sweet potatoes and in a brown butter sauce. On top there was crispy kale and crispy mushrooms with pistachios. All of the textures worked really well together. The second entrée was the striped bass. It came with pickled red onion and grilled lemon and some sort of purée that was divine. We were so incredibly full, but we decided to share one more thing... Baked Alaska for dessert. It's such a fun throwback dessert. I also had the wintertini which was their version of an espresso martini. And I would be remiss not to mention what a wonderful server we had. She helped to guide us through the menu and provide suggestions for our best dining experience.I can't wait to come back and share this place with more people!

My hubby and I finally made it to Lilith! This restaurant is absolutely amazing. We loved the atmosphere-very intimate, beautiful decor and music! So many places are so quiet and come off as sterile, IMO. We started with 2 drinks. I had the carota and my hubby had a glass of red wine. The carota wasn't too sweet, and the presentation was absolutely lovely. We started with the rosemary and whipped ricotta. Wowzers-absolute perfection. For appetizers, we ordered the lobster rolls and yuca pierogis. They were both exquisite! When I went to bite the lobster rolls, you could smell the freshness of the ingredients as you bit into it. Wow ! The combination of flavors for the yuca pierogis was perfect and they were delicious. For dinner I had the striped sea bass, and my hubby had the filet. He said the filet was absolute perfection, and would have wiped his plate clean if he could have! My striped bass was fantastic as well. We usually don't order dessert, but decided to go for the toffee. It was the perfect ending to the evening. It was heavenly. Lilith is one of our favorite spots now in Pittsburgh! I could see why it's hard to get into and why so many love it. Highly recommend!

This place is oh so cute. Be warned, you definitely need a reservation because it's small inside. From the cocktails to the apps to the main dish, everything we got was so delicious. I really loved the fish we got and the soup was very very good too. A perfect date spot or friend date spot with the girls.

Good but not exceptional! I enjoyed the taste of the seafood dishes especially but the portion sizes were quite small and the prices quite high.I will say, the desserts were so beautiful and delicious. If I could sit at a bar here and just order a tea and a dessert, I think I would love to do that.

Beautiful and very ~vibey~ chic restaurant in Shadyside, perfect for a date night or a meal with your pals! My husband and I visited for our anniversary dinner and it was a treat. The space is small but well-decorated and unique, I would definitely recommend visiting with a party no larger than 4 just based on the square-footage, but as long as you go in knowing this I am sure you'll have a wonderful time! The small space does not take away from the overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the ambiance, and the service was so lovely! For food, we enjoyed a trio of apps: yuca pierogi, lobster rolls, and Japanese sweet potato. All of them were INCREDIBLE. The pierogi was a standout - tender but with such a good bite, and the romesco sauce was a perfect pairing. The lobster rolls were adorable and rich in flavor, and the pan sobao rolls themselves were heavenly. The sweet potato was elegant (that purple color!) and so flavorful, and the fish roe was such a fun contrast in flavor and texture. Plus, the focaccia was delicious! Not a bad bite anywhere! I ordered the ravioli dish as my entree and it was so nutty and fresh and full of amazing textures from the mushrooms and vegetables. My husband tried the swordfish and mussels dish and loved it as well. We split the sticky toffee cake for dessert and it was SO decadent, and accompanying the cake was an anniversary candle and a card signed by the entire restaurant staff. A lovely, thoughtful touch - we were so charmed and it warmed our hearts. I cannot wait to return in warmer weather and possible sit outside, and to try different seasonal items and cocktails. What a treat!

Lilith is a hidden oasis in the heart of Shadyside! From the moment I walked in, everything was outstanding, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service - possibly the best I've ever experienced. The staff made the evening unforgettable. As for the food, every bite was a delight. I highly recommend the beef filet, which was cooked to perfection, the farrotto was rich and flavorful, and the baked Alaska was the perfect sweet finish. I can't wait to return! If you're in the area, this spot is a must-visit.

Excellent--each bite was better than the last. Perfect date night spot. My boyfriend and I brought his parents here for a double date, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The interior is charming, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. We were seated in the back room, which provided a quiet and private atmosphere. We started with the rosemary focaccia paired with whipped ricotta--it was absolutely outstanding. Next, we savored the scallop ceviche, yuca pierogies, and lobster roll--each dish was incredible in its own way. For our mains, we chose the halibut and the ravioli. The ravioli, with its perfect balance of flavors, may have been my favorite bite of the night. To finish, we shared the passion fruit cheesecake and Italian chocolate cake. Both desserts delivered unique twists on traditional dishes and were the perfect way to end the evening.Service was top notch.

Cutest vibe restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Attentive service from the waiter who starts you off with house fragrant rosemary focaccia with the lightest olive oil and whipped ricotta. The dinner we had tonight was a mixed bag, lovely overall. What we ordered: . Oysters with Mango Mignonette - the oysters were small and not particularly sweet for their variety. Tuna tartare - very different from what I normally have. The tuna is essentially mixed with a lot of "mix ins". In the end, it reminded me a bit of tuna salad filling. . Lobster Rolls - packs a real dill punch in crusty bun (2 mini rolls). Pierogis - highly recommend. It's got a lot going on, but the fresh vegetables and sauces are all great counterparts to the soft pierogi. Loup de Mer - okay, a little overcooked, skin was a bit tough.
