It closed permanently much to our sadness. We've been going there for many many years. Closed suddenly weeks ago.

Really cool vibe inside the house / tavern style restaurant. Amazing service. The young woman hustled and worked hard always with a smile. Makes a huge difference. I had a cup of their homemade chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles. Incredible. I also had the cheeseburger and fries. You could tell the burger meat was fresh and cooked perfect. Sounds simple but you don't always get that at random other places. The fries were hand cut and crunchy. So good. My wife had the grilled cheese which she loved. The bread makes the difference with the different cheeses and fresh tomato. We had a great experience and will def be back.

A trip down historic lane, loved this restaurant!! I ordered the French Onion Soup and the Cuban Ruben and thought it was a very tasty lunch. The FOS was not over salted like usual restaurants will do, perfectly seasoned!! My sandwich was delicious. The service was A+++ even during a busy time. We will be back!

First of all if I could this place 0 stars I would. The food is overpriced and bland. The staff is not accommodating whatsoever. The french fries are old McDonald's french fries. I will not be returning here and don't recommend anyone to come here. Unless you want to get overcharged for inedible food.

Stopped in today for lunch because we had heard that they are known for their French Onion Soup, I remember an article years ago in Pittsburgh Magazine saying how it was worth the trip! I am a FOS junkie, so I will go out of my way for a big bubbling cheesy crock! I ordered the FOS & a Cuban Ruben. Sandwich was decent but the FOS was probably the worst I have ever had. Watery onion broth and more bread cubes than onion. In fact, there were barely any onions or flavor for that matter. Just disappointing... and the bartender said "oh yes, our FOS is known all around and people love it! Funny, when my crock was still full at the end of lunch she never asked how it was or if something was wrong, she just cleared our dishes and handed us our check.Maybe an off day in the kitchen however, Pretty bad... you gotta do better than that.

Located in the heart of Ligonier, the Ligonier Tavern and Table is a charming restaurant that gives you the feeling of being at home while dining on quality, upscale meals. The restaurant itself is located inside a historic residential building with three floors. The covered porch seats several small tables, while the majority of the dining area is on the first floor. Additional private dining rooms are available on the second and third floors. A separate bar area is also available for guests. I've visited this location on Mother's Day 2019 and more recently on Ligonier's light up night. My husband and I were hoping to have dinner here after walking around the town square, but unfortunately the kitchen was running behind on filling food orders. They did allow us to come in for drinks only, though. The staff here is friendly and hard-working. The facility is clean throughout and there are men's and women's bathrooms located on the second (middle) floor of the restaurant. I'm not sure how those with disabilities would access the restrooms, or the front door of the restaurant, for that matter. We didn't get to order any food on our most recent visit, but from what I remember on Mother's Day, the food was hot, delicious, and better quality than local competitors. They had a wide array of menu items ranging from chicken wings to chicken Alfredo. Because of the uniqueness of this location, I would recommend it for date-night, group parties and gatherings, and family dinners. This is a local specialty in the Ligonier area and I hope people continue to support this small business!

I'm really not understanding the negative reviews here. We came on a Saturday afternoon, were promptly seated and received a really great meal!! To start off, they had a beer on their bar menu that I'd had in London that I've been craving!! Well's Banana Bread Beer. High five!! Very enjoyable. We all stuck to the basics and ordered burgers. They were truly delicious!!! My husband and I both had the Slap and Pickle and my Mum had the Mushroom and Swiss. All of the burgers were cooked medium and we juicy perfection!! I had the fries with mine and my husband and Mum had the side salad. Everything was damn good!!

Nice environment, food was decent but a little pricey for what it was. Our waitress was very attentive and kind.

We were looking forward to visiting this historical building for lunch during the Ligonier Ice Festival. We made reservations online, which were accepted. When we arrived, they were closed. No note on their website. No follow-up email explaining the situation. Just closed. Very disappointing.

Traveling the area for work and happened to find this place while searching for dinner. A little far from my hotel, but what a beautiful drive on a warm spring evening. When arriving in the small town I felt like I was driving on the set of a Hallmark movie. The restaurant was easy to find and an unexpectedly charming from the outside and continued as we walked in. We were greeted and seated almost immediately by a friendly hostess and also our server. Clearly Monday night was not busy as only one other table was seated, which made me nervous as to what the quality of the food would be like. I was wrong, what a gem hidden in a beautiful small community. With an appetizer and three perfectly cooked meals, my party and I were more than satisfied all of the food as we were stuffing in every last delicious bite. If I'm ever in the area, even if it's within an hour or two of this town, I will be making this drive again. Take the time, make the drive, and enjoy the history of the town and restaurant!
