Ligonier Creamery

Lots of selection of ice cream here! Prices were great too. I was in Ligioner visiting from California and the family decided to stop in and get something sweet. The girls working the shop were nice and hard working so the line moved quickly. The ice cream was delicious and so were the toppings. I got a vanilla sundae with bananas, strawberries, chocolate, nuts and whip cream. Great portion for the price. Inside the place was nice and cool. I loved the decorations and the small town feel.

We had the "Razzles", Chocolate Covered Cherry & Brownie Fudge.The business is located right in the main circle.A quaint little place with an old time feel.The service was quick and the people very friendly.The DQ Blizzard copies were extremely good.

Everyone loves ice cream. I got the butter pecan and it was good. I asked about a pup cup but they didn't have any. We just gave the pup a little of our ice cream in a bowl that we had in the car. I can't say the ice cream was spectacular but it was nice to sit on the benches outside while we enjoyed the ice cream.

There are a variety of flavors and sizes that should satisfy anyone. My husband's favorite is their banana split. I like the milkshakes and sundaes. They offer homemade waffle cones as well as the regular cake cones. I noticed a few other reviewers mentioned the service. The most recent time I was here there were two women working the counter. One was very friendly, the other not so much. The Creamery is located on the Diamond in part of a restored building that used to be the GC Murphy's 5 & 10. Quite nostalgic for me as my first job was working there back in the late 1960s. It is nice that the original creaking, wooden flooring was still there. There is a boutique and Mexican restaurant in the same building.

Great service, wonderful friendly workers busting their butt's. Alot to choose from and affordable prices. Not overpriced ice-cream like you see everywhere. I had the peanut butter sundae and my wife just had the twist soft serve in a cup. All very good. And comfortable seating inside large establishment. We will remember and be back. Awesome job!!!

Ice cream was really good, but the service was absolutely awful. Everyone was rude. We asked if they could make an affogato and they acted as if we were asking for some big thing. They didn't know what it was and made a huge deal out of it. Then we explained how to make one which it's just a scoop of ice cream with coffee. Then they kept rolling their eyes and looking at us the entire time even when we left the store. It was one of the most unnecessarily, rude encounters we have ever had.

We stumbled upon this place during a road trip while looking for a place to use the restroom. What a find! Not only were the restrooms clean and imminently usable, but the ice cream was out of this world! Probably the creamiest and most delicious ice cream I've had in several years, at least. I tried the butter pecan and apple pie flavors, while my daughter had the chocolate chocolate chip. The apple pie ice cream had homemade (I think they said) apple pie chunks in it! My wife can also vouch for their chocolate milkshakes as being amazing. When we finally arrived at our destination in Pittsburgh, I mentioned the place to the first friends we visited, and they immediately knew what I was talking about. They said they sometimes drive all the way out to Ligonier just to have this ice cream! I can't say that I blame them.

I'm gonna give this place 4 stars.... It's a great, nostalgic ice cream parlor and has all of that charm! They've got some very good flavors of ice cream, however I wish they would get a little more creative with them.... BUT the waffle cones are prob the best I've ever had....I believe they make them homemade..... They're excellent!

Our kids loved the creamery. The little town circle is absolutely adorable and all of the little shops were cute. The creamery was really nice and the staff was super friendly. My kids loved the strawberry shortcake sundae!

Never saw so many different ice cream choices. Right in the middle of downtown Lingonier. They even have doggie ice cream.
