Cannot recommend Le Cupcake Shoppe enough!!! I contacted her to make a speciality cake/cake pops for my sons 2nd birthday, and she completely knocked it out of the park! The desserts looked exactly like the inspiration pictures that I provided, and were delicious to boot -- all of our guests were raving about them.If you're even thinking of booking her for any sort of event, don't think twice and act now. She was responsive, friendly, and just overall excellent to work with.Attaching pictures of the desserts she made because they are truly impressive.

Absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things! Alexandra is wonderful. She's kind, responsive, creative, and makes the most amazing cakes! This is totally my go to place! I think she can do anything! If you haven't tried it yet, get there soon!

I have had two experiences with Le Cupcake Shoppe. One is their delicious mini gluten free cupcakes. Thank you for making them an option! I can't wait to see if they do more GF options in the future (wink wink) and two I ordered hot chocolate bombs for Christmas for family.I actually did the whole process on instagram if you can believe it! The owner seems to be the most communicative on that platform. She answered me right away with any questions I had and once I was ready I just paid via venmo. The process was surprisingly super simple. The pick-up process is curbside only right now. I tried to call when I showed up and no one answered so I just went up and knocked on the door. The owner peeked her head out and then quickly brought out all the hot chocolate bombs. The hot chocolate bombs themselves were very good! You can honestly tell the chocolate is good quality. You just pour hot milk over it and the bomb pops open to release marshmallows. So fun! It was rich and flavorful and I'm already thinking of when I'm going to order more!

When your bestie's birthday plans come together in a New York minute and Gluten Free is a must, the options [outside of the East End] are limited in the 'Burgh. The good news is, my colleagues had the hilarious pleasure of listening to me call 12 bakeries yesterday in search of GF baked goods, and cheered when the search was finally successful. I called Le Cupcake Shoppe and left a message assuming I wouldn't hear back that day, but owner Alex called me back almost immediately. As luck would have it, she had just filled a GF catering order and had an overage. Her minis are ADORABLE and delicious. You'll pay more than you would at Giant Eagle, but it did my heart good to support a lovely local business, with a kind owner, and get that bestie the GF cupcakes she deserved.

After many hours reading reviews of bakeries in Pittsburgh- I decided that this was the one. I was planning a baby shower from out of town and wanted a naked cake- I received a phone call back within 24 hours and was very confident that the cake would turn out just as requested. The cakes are made by hand and the variety of filling options were amazing. I initially requested a naked cake but they took their time explaining the difference between naked/some frosting etc to achieve the look I was going for. The pricing is phenomenal considering all of the time and effort that goes into each cake. My cake turned out even better than I imagined and all of the guests were complimenting on the great flavor. We also picked up a few dozen mini cupcakes that were dressed adorably and perfect bite size snacks! Amazing boutique bakery!!!

I stopped in here Friday for the first time and it was so cute! The woman that helped me was kind, personable and friendly. I purchased cake pops in both chocolate and vanilla to have as an afternoon treat and were blown away at their freshness and taste. I also purchased 2 dozen mini cupcakes. There were so many different flavors to try that I had a hard time narrowing it down! I try to host a family get together regularly and am always looking for a fun dessert to add to the menu and these were perfect! They were so cute looking and were tasty too! I loved that there was such a wide selection of flavors to accommodate everyone's preferences. It was a perfect way to end a really enjoyable evening and I look forward to using them again in the future.

Absolutely love this place!!! It is so cute and clean inside - i got a cake for my fiancé's birthday and we were obsessed. It was so delicious!!!! We will be using Le Cupcake will be doing my cake and cupcakes for the wedding. 5 stars for sure.

My husband and I stopped yesterday afternoon and although there were some that were sold out, we were still able to pick up a dozen for $10. Each one is adorably decorated with some packed with some type of filling. Our favorites were the Rice Crispy Treat cupcake and another named Beauty and The Beast ( my personal favorite). We cannot wait to try some others. Definitely goin back. 3-22-17: 2nd visit and I got to meet the owner. She was so nice and we even shared a love of our pups. I was elated to see that they had DOGGY CUPCAKES! Took one home to by Buddy and he absolutely loved it! Beauty and the Beast still my very fav! Great service, wonderful owners and just a great shop to visit at anytime. I highly recommend this cupcake shop. They are absolutely delicious!

This vendor never once explained her policy. Never once asked for a deposit. Never once asked me to sign a contract or talk in the Shoppe. She claims that because the cake was simple she didn't see the need. She decided to cancel my cake 3 weeks before my wedding because I asked to pay a deposit and and the rest the day of. Never once did I say I wasn't going to pay her for the cake. But just as it's in her right to be paid it is well within my right to ask that the cake is what I wanted before spending money on it. Again I would of signed a contract, paid a deposit, given her a credit card to hold. But she did not ask for any of that. This is an example of poor communication.
