I take no pause in saying this was the best dinner I've ever had. I have been to other AAA Five Diamond restaurants and this one so far holds my top spot. The food was just insanely delicious and the service was amazing. I mean ending the night with that candy cart is just genius. It's pretty low cost for the restaurant but such a fun photo opp and nostalgic box to take home. This was probably the most expensive meal I've ever had, so I'm also really glad it was the best. Starting with the bread service the olive oil, honey, and butter were amazing. It was hard to restrain myself from eating a ton of it. The corn custard, scallops, and pierogi were delicious, but that wagyu beef, so freaking delicious. It came with a steak sauce where you mix the quail egg into it. Yum! It was just the best beef dish I have ever had. I can say enough good things about it. The kombucha pallet cleanser was also adorable before dessert. They think so much about the fun and whimsy of the presentation here, it just makes it that much more memorable. The posset for dessert, (their signature dessert) was beautiful and delicious as well. The wine pairing was spot on and I enjoyed every glass. The champagne tasting they also offer was pretty tempting, but also a bit more pricey than what I needed to tack on to an already expensive bill. My only complaint was the $10 small cup of coffee. Like they could have at least left the pot on the table. It just felt a little overkill to me when you already are spending $350 on the meal, maybe include the coffee. The singer was also a lovely touch to the meal. She had a beautiful voice and could sing everything from pop songs to opera. Super impressive! I really want to head back here with my husband, it is a dining experience you will never forget!

A great dining experience that is now, due to a policy change barring the general public, only available to registered guests at the resort. It's easy to spend $200 to $300 here for two diners but you will not be disappointed. It's not a meal. It's an event.

Have had the pleasure of dining here twice. The first time was a Christmas Eve dinner a few years back. That did not get off to a great start since our reservation was not in the system and the house was packed. Thankfully the staff took care of us and found us a nice spot in the corner for our party of six. We returned for a mini vacation earlier this year and again dined at Lautrec. I will say one of our servers was pretty snooty this last time. If you've never been , you need to know it's a pre-fixed menu. All the produce is typically farm to table and locally sourced. And the preparations are totally unique and change often. I love this because it's stuff I wouldn't usually try. But this last time one of our guests had dietary restrictions and when we asked for a substitution on the shellfish, you would have thought we were asking for ketchup on the side of a steak or something (and even if we were, who the heck cares). Thankfully this uppety server was replaced and our new server was delightful. And the som was awesome, finding us a wine that we'd never had but chosen based on what we have liked in the past. The one anomalous server aside, service here is second to none. And the chef is just remarkable. It really is a dining experience. The fixed menu is as you would expect, not cheap, but wonderful for that special occasion with loved ones. If you are ever in Nemacolin and have a couple / few hours to splurge on some real decadence, you have to try Lautrec.

Impeccable service and food. Foodies will love it here. Excellent wine too. Overall, a wonderful experience for those with good taste and who know excellent wine and food. Such a comfortable setting and experience.

I got desert here with my cousin. I was not impressed with any of the 3 things we tried. They came out very nicely presented but lacked fine taste and flavor for the price we paid. The decode and space it self was nice along with the service. Micha was great along with the rest of his staff. The service was impeccable. The Proportions were small and not ideal for sharing. I would probably not come back again.

Before we retired, and when we lived in Pittsburgh, we used to come here 3 times a year and fell in love with it. The most special night of our trip was dining at Lautrec. We have eaten here dozens of times and every experience was made special. There is a server named Terry, who was always our favorite, and how special for us after a 7 year hiatus, to come back and have Terry as our server. He always makes the meal that much more special with his knowledge of the food and his professionalism. This visit provided a new experience with the "Leap of Faith" menu. What a clever idea and one we took advantage of. 7 courses based on items we chose we liked. I won't get into the details as I don't want to ruin the dining surprise for anyone considering it, but each course was special. My only tip is to order cheese as one of your items. The chef here is amazing and creative and the dining experience wonderful. There is a price tag on the experience, but YOLO.

It is true talent and art to create something as wonderful as the food at Lautrec. Chef Butterworth is absolutely incredible. We tried the 4 course prix fixe and were amazed at how quickly each course came out. The servings are not huge, but you are there to taste the art creativity behind the food and enjoy a special experience, not stuff your face. After we ordered they brought us a cucumber soup which is meant to clear your palate before tasting the main dishes. It had hints of bacon and oils in it and it was honestly probably my favorite part of the experience. It tasted so good!Next our first course was brought to us. I got salmon tartare. I liked how the chef mixed the salmon flavoring with avocado and cucumber pieces and the presentation was very nice. The second course was my least favorite. I got squash blossom tempura. It was stuffed with rabbit and ricotta but I tasted mostly ricotta. I wasn't expecting the serving to be huge but I finished it in 4 bites.Next I got Hokkaido scallops. As much as I'm embarrassed to say it, I had never tried scallops before. I love them, but now every other restaurant is going to have some serious competition in my opinion because I don't see how this meal could be beat. I especially liked the purple sauce served with the scallops. I'm not sure what it was, but it tasted incredible. The presentation on this meal was 10/10. For dessert I got the pancakes. The warm syrup and ice cream combo made this a very filling dessert. By the time I left the restaurant, I was so full and amazed at the art that Chef Butterworth puts into her cooking. You can tell nothing is rushed and nothing leaves the kitchen unless it is flawless. I definitely recommend Lautrec to anyone celebrating something or just looking for a romantic or intimate evening.

Five stars for the experience, four stars for the food. There is an emphasis on presentation, and since it's a tasting menu with some variation, you're going to encounter things that you like and things that you don't. The mushroom risotto dish was one of the finest things I've ever eaten. The dessert was some type of strawberry custard that I just couldn't tolerate, but I don't like strawberries. Other items were interesting, combinations and textures that I never encountered before - didn't always love the taste but had to admire the skill and thought in the creation.A definite recommend for a one-time experience.Would I return? Tough call. At this price point I want to love everything, and on that it fell short.

Food wasn't worth the price. I was not full. Go to gusto. 1000 times better, you'll be full, and spend an 1/8 of the price of lautrec. It truly is over priced for what you get. Would not go again.

We had great service and loved the wine pairing. The to go box of treats at the end of dinner was the ultimate hospitality. Thank your for a wonderful experience!
