Later Alligator

The food was delicious!!! Wonderfully friendly. The outdoor seating is so cute. We highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area.

My mother, daughter, and niece all really like this place and raved about the meal they'd had here on a previous trip (that I wasn't apart of) so I was really looking forward to it. I opted for a salmon crepe and the tomato basil soup. I really enjoyed the soup but the salmon in the crepe was a little too fishy for me, I still cleaned my plate though. Again the other members of the group all raved about their meals. I'd definitely return but I think I'd try something different next time.

I noticed Later Alligator on my Maps "Explore" tab and decided to give it a try - I must say that I'm very glad about that.Located in a historic downtown building, the space has tons of character. The vibe is relaxed and many Wheeling Steel relics adorn the walls and other spots throughout the dining area. There are patios front and rear, so there's plenty of options for outdoor dining.I ordered the Strawberry Brie Zze... It sounded so good - fresh strawberries, basil, Brie and deli turkey with jalapeno strawberry jelly. It arrived at the table hot and fresh with golden crusty bread, lots of gooey Brie and plenty of turkey! However, the sandwich had hardly any strawberries inside and the jelly had no noticeable jalapeno kick. The chips and pickle were both good. I enjoyed my cocktail - A Long Island Iced Tea from their menu. It was definitely better than a premixed drink, but nothing great to set it apart.Later Alligator offers a downtown location with lots of seating and dining options, friendly service and quality food. I'll visit again and hope that I can get a strawberry filled sandwich, upon my return!

It's ok ... not bad but not really good. The beer was cold. They allow pets which is a huge plus and reason to go back. They even have their own menu.

Area was quaint, place was unique service was good fast friendly and food was great. Were out of w few things we wanted to try but what we got was great!

Fun menu with lots of options. If you are into potatoes salad, they have a very yummy version. Staff is wonderful. All kinds of fun things on the walls.

This was such a cool little restaurant and the food was amazing! Our server was on point also! 5 stars for sure! We were in town for less than 24 hrs and ran across it! Loved it!!

The food is amazing, so is the service and the ambience. One of my favorite restaurants in the Ohio Valley. I've never had a bad experience there!
