LaScola's Pizzeria

My coworker treated me to lunch earlier this week since I am leaving that office location. She chose LaScola's because we are both GF and they have GF pizza! I ordered a GF pizza with green peppers and she ordered a GF pizza with cheddar, broccoli and chicken. Two of our other coworkers joined us and one got a 4 cut white pizza and the other coworker got a buffalo chicken wrap. We received everything as ordered. My pizza was very good- one of the better GF pizzas I've tried. My coworkers buffalo chicken wrap looked so good! They actually grilled the wrap with everything in it so it was nice and toasty. I probably won't be out in New Ken very often since lll be back to working downtown, but if I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely order from LaScola's again! Everything was very good!

I can't say enough about this Italian Pizzeria !! I have enjoyed every pizza I have ordered from here! Although I do recommend the Buffalo Chicken or BBQ Chicken- both incredible !!!

First impression, darkest business entry,walls and ceiling are black and one 60 watt light bulb and a small yellow light bulb and no windows. Been in brighter theaters. Ordered small pizza with pepperoni and sausage which was pretty good but way to much sauce for me but taste was good. Ordered half a steak and cheese with only mushrooms and onions but they still put lettuce tomatoes and slathered it with mayo. After I scraped off the lettuce tomatoes and mayo it did taste decent but was not what I ordered. I was very specific ONLY mush and onions A couple gallons of light colored paint and some modern lighting would greatly improve the ambiance as this place looks scary when you walk in. It's like walking into someone's basement with one lightbulb.

When I moved to the area this was the first place we ordered delivery from - pizza and hoagies. They were delicious, generous portions. The next time we ordered we went to pick it up and that's where they lost me. The outside of the building is dingy and the inside is no better. I could feel my shoes sticking to the sticky floor. It's just plain dirty and makes me feel like the kitchen is a dirt trap as well. I'd suggest a deep clean and a couple gallons of paint

I discovered this Pizzeria recently, called local tavern for takeout pizza to discover their kitchen was closed for evening, googled closest Pizza place to me! LaScola's was it! The pizza was excellent, the prices were great! I hate paying $30 (this was half that for excellent) for a mediocre pizza. The crust was perfect, the toppings were plentiful. I would highly recommend them. I'm now a regular, ordered 3 times since first visit!

LaScola's is one of my top 5 pizzeria's in the area. yeah it might sit at number 3 or 4 but it doesn't mean it's lacking. La Scola's really shines when you get a speciality. The food shows, the craft shows.

Hooray for good, hot pizza in New Kensington!The place is small and really best for pick-up only. Friendly over the phone service, but the ladies were a little hurried (being that it was Friday night dinner chaos).The regular crust is a medium thickness - not too bready, not paper thin; very nice. Good sauce to cheese ratio too!The veggie pizza was my favorite of the ones we tried (Cheese, Veggie, Pepperoni, & Steak).-1 Star for the cheese pizza being so greasy (dripped before I even took a bite)

Love their pizza! You can either order regular or thin crust- both are delicious. They also have great homemade hot sauce which is important to my pizza orders for crust dipping!

Our family does pizza and movie night once a week and LaScolas pizza was our go to 9 out of 10 times. It was close and they do make very good pizzas. However after sitting inside watching a football game waiting for our order to be cooked, the owner made some very off color comments about some players on television regarding their religion and ethnicity. If I hadn't already paid for my order I would have just left. I'll never go back.

A gem tucked away in humble surroundings and great people running the business. Menu is wide and varied that should satisfy any customer. Just try it, you will be surprised and satisfied!
