Good. I'm generally looking for vegetarian and vegetable forward dining options, and the options along those lines were limited. The overall experience was good, but I didn't get the impression that I was the target audience. In any case, we ordered a variety of different takeout items. The ordering experience was good, though it might be a good idea to call the restaurant rather than using their online ordering page. There were a few items that should have been customizable that couldn't actually be configured on the ordering page (e.g., soft vs. hard shell tacos). In general, things were packaged reasonably well, and our order was ready even earlier than anticipated. In terms of food, most everything was good. The takeout chips and salsa were a winner, with a fresh and flavorful salsa. The guacamole was deliciously chunky and fresh. The vegetable plate was a nice option, but I would have preferred to see some sort of vegetarian fajitas. The enchiladas rancheras were good, and basically in line with what you would expect. The side salad was much more substantial than I expected, and made for a nice way to add some vegetable matter to the meal. I particularly appreciated the "taste of Central America" menu and enjoyed the Honduran baleadas. As with any Mexican cuisine, I highly recommend adding some hot sauce and other condiments to the mix.All told, it was a good experience with a few opportunities for improvement.

Amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine! They serve both Mexican and Central American cuisine. Absolutely delicious quesadillas & perfect margaritas. They have incredible enchiladas- my favorite is one beef and one chicken- get to try both! Service is pretty quick but when it gets busy, which it does often, it can take a little longer- just means more margaritas!

Quality and taste of food has definitely going down from my first time coming here in 2018. Not very seasoned to shrimp enchilada was extremely bland . Service is pretty average meets but never exceeded expectation. My most recent visit server added gratuity for a party of two... I was a server for over 20 years, so she definitely shortchanged themselves with that move. This place no longer has a festive feel that you love when you go out for Mexican cuisine.

We've been to La Calera several times now. Every time we have a positive experience. The staff are extremely friendly and always smiling. The food is also delicious and served piping hot. They have a lot of options on the menus from vegetarian to beef, chicken, and shrimp options. Chips are served with two delicious salsa options, and you can make a special request for their house spicy salsa.

My daughter and I ate at the Baldwin location last week. I was very impressed. Service was good, the restaurant looks fantastic. The chile relleno is my go-to for testing out a Mexican restaurant, and yours was good. Spicy poblano, cheesy, smothered in cheese and enchilada sauce. The hard taco needed a little help from the green hot sauce on the table. Hardly detracted from the meal. My daughter had a good margarita and the pastelito hondureño, which she described as 'meh' and not exactly what she wanted, but that's her problem, not yours.Excited to have you so close, now that Casa Nayarit is permanently closed!

Let's start with the friendly staff! They held the doors open so my mother who uses a walker could easily walk in. The food was delicious! We stopped for lunch and had soup...the chicken tortilla and poblano. The serving size was much larger than your typical cup of soup at a chain restaurant and it was served piping hot!We ordered two dinners to go and the servings were absolutely HUGE! My mother and I shared the stuffed poblano peppers and we could have shared it with a third person.I ordered the hot & spicy steak burrito for my brother and it also was huge. My brother normally just says "it's okay" when I ask him if he enjoyed his dinner. This time he said it was really good and actually had a kick to it!So we'll be back!

The first time I was there I ordered a chicken chimichanga. It was very good except the sauce that was on top. Too sweet! Service was great! Second time I ordered the same chimichanga, but with cheese sauce on the top this time. DELICIOUS!! So much better! The margaritas are awesome!! We will be back!
