We decided to come on a Thursday night and join the waitlist. We had 12 people ahead of us but took the time to browse the menu and got seated in like 20-30 minutes. We order 2 pork belly and chicken thigh with Leek skewers and 1 Curry Japanese Ramen and the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu ramen. Everything was incredible but would recommend the pork belly over the chicken/leek. Add the condiments on the table to level it up.Both ramens were incredibly flavorful and filling! We finished everything and dream of returning in the near future.Worth the wait and the staff were incredible and clearly very thoughtful and taking orders and getting food out quickly and efficiently.

Fantastic Ramen! Feels like Pittsburgh finally got a REAL ramen spot. Broth, on point. Noodles, on point. Soft boiled egg, on point. If you've been holding off on trying Ramen in Pittsburgh, Kyuramen is what you've been waiting for.My one request from the business when you're ready... add Tsukemen to your menu. I bet you'd make something magical.

Amazing addition to the area! Not only the decor was spot on, so does the food and service too! Since it's still relatively new when my friend and I stopped in, this place does get packed. It's convenient that the Boba tea shop is within the premise, making it very convenient for many. I wished there's a way we could make reservations online or virtually queue for it.

Really great ramen! The broth with the black garlic is very rich and flavorful. The popcorn chicken is so juicy inside and crispy on the outside. Service was great, they cut the omelette open and drizzle the sauce over for you. The inside seating area is really nice.

I've had the ramen before and it was perfect for a chilly night. The omurice came out on a tray with a server cutting it and pouring sauce, quite the showmanship. They have call buttons to call for service and an interesting beehive shape for tables on elevated surfaces. Truly a restaurant of the future.

Wonderful time enjoying a late night dinner! The Tokyo tonkotsu shoyu ramen was delicious. With the ramen, the dining experience is more exciting since there is a hidden word at the bottom of the bowl potentially providing a free bowl of ramen or other foods. The ambiance was wonderful. We were able to sit in one of the fun honeycomb booths. The service was decent. We had an issue with the two drinks being forgotten. We were able to get the drinks in to go containers. There is a call button at the table and when you press the button the server is suppose to come. It took several presses of the call button before someone came when we wanted to inquire about our forgotten drinks. Be prepared for a wait if you come during busy time. We had an one hour wait at 8pm on the weekend. Overall the food was wonderful and ambiance was lovely.

Kyuramen is a blast and such a cool space to dine in. I shared a combo with someone else at my table and honestly for $65, the two drinks, two ramens, karage chicken and desserts was a steal. Everything was delicious and prepared so quickly. Our server took so long with us helping us understand the menu and order. The service was exceptional. Can't wait to go back and try other things.

This spot is so cute inside! I've been to ones in NYC and it's pretty standard and similar. The staff is super nice and attentive. The food comes out pretty fast. I feel like the ramen lacks a lot of depth and flavor but I also don't like spicy and their spicy ramen is usually better. My fav thing here is the omurice and it's pretty damn good. I wish the rice wasn't premade so I could have it without onion (dietary restriction) but I can eat around it and the egg is fabulous. Love that you get a show when the omurice comes out. They have bubble tea right inside too with TBaar which is great. The apps are pretty good. Great that we have this spot in PGH now!

New BYOB ramen spot alert!! Kyuramen is a new restaurant in East Liberty that is absolutely perfect for this cold winter weather. The ramen portions are quite large & delicious (I got a spicy tonkatsu ramen that I would highly recommend), and I would also highlight the chili garlic edamame appetizer (also a large portion, good for sharing). The BYOB option keeps the dinner affordable as well. The only negative is that the restaurant is entirely walk-in (no reservations) so we had to wait a little while for our table trying to go to dinner on a Friday night. Also, service is definitely still getting slightly figured out, as our entrees across our table didn't come out all together. Overall, though, I think this cozy ramen spot will do really well & is worth a visit!Food: ADrinks: N/AService: B-Ambiance: B+

Call bell is super convenient. Food tastes great and overall interior is also great. Level 1 spiciness rather felt like level 3 but maybe it's just once in a while type I hope. Highly recommend gyoza too. Everyone in the table loved it
