This was one of the best meal experiences I've had in Pittsburgh. The sushi was amazing, the servers were very helpful I understanding how the menu worked, and the overall vibe of the place is really cool. I came here on a Sunday and it was such a good decision. If you have the opportunity to check it out I definitely recommend.

This Japanese restaurant offer 'All you can eat' for sushi, and they offer great selection of Japanese dish for you to choose from. There are 2 options for AYCE: Pacific Experience $27.99 and Tokyo Experience $37.99 (with more premium dishes to choose from) (they have kids discounted price as well)We were not very hungry and my friend was not planning to eat, so I ordered off of the a la carte price instead of going for the AYCE.Overall, food was good, I really like agedashi tofu, silky smooth tofu piece lightly battered and deep fried, served with a slightly sweet soy sauce. negimaki which was the wagyu wraps around scallion, was quite underwhelming it tastes more like generic beef served with teriyaki sauce, I would order it again if I go for the AYCE. Kombu shiitake dashi broth was bland, so I would not recommend ordering it. What I have to warn you though, is that the service was surprisingly slow, despite 4-5 staffs behind the sushi bar and there were only 3-4 small tables inside.

This is the best all you can eat sushi spot in the city and the best I have ever experienced. I'm a large man with a large appetite. I eat 8-10 rolls of sushi every time I have it. I have to go to all you ant eat so I don't destroy my walletThis has been the greatest addition to the sushi game in Pittsburgh. Now since first opening they have changed their menu and taken some rolls up and upped the prices a tad. I don't blame them, I wasn't even sure how they were turning over r profit at first but god I loved it. It's still solid now just a few less rollsIt's a good date spot and if it's a group you have to all pay for the same exact menu you're ordering from regardless of who gets whatEvery waiter/waitress I've had has been very nice and attentive to us. Very fast with water refills, and getting more orders in for you. Will continue to go here whenever I want sushi

My mom and I came here for her birthday and, overall, we enjoyed it! You really can't beat an all you can eat menu for the prices they offer. There's a pretty extensive drink menu with beer, wine, cocktails, and sake. The service was pretty good even though it seemed like there was only 1 server taking care of every table. As for the sushi, some items were better or seemed fresher than others. We both loved the spicy tuna roll, I wish I had ordered a second one! The rainbow roll was also great. Our least favorite was the Fire Island roll. My mom loves spicy food and even she thought it was a little too spicy to really enjoy. The menu also said there was "crunchy spicy salmon" inside but it was pretty mushy. There were some other rolls on the menu that sounded good but we were too full to try, so we will definitely be back!

I think the price update and change in menu structure really lowered the quality of this place. From the pictures I took past visit to the one I will upload now - major disappointment. The fish was very fish tasting and they cut it to a sliver. That is certainly not how sushi should be served. It seems to me the new sushi chef is no good or they're cutting corners in the quality. Very disappointed and I no longer recommend this place.

Food came out quicker this time. I had a blast killing my 40 salmon sushi ( I asked for 30 pieces/15 orders but i guess they just really wanted to challenge me. but dont worry I'm always up for the challenge. Ordered a bunch of food, called ahead to reserve, everytihng went smoothly. Came here after our cardio final and we had a blast talking about the most atrocious would you press a button questions.

Great place for AYCE sushi. They have such a huge selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, ramen, rice bowls and apps. We definitely took advantage of the selection and ordered probably about a dozen different plates. This is a great place if you want to try new things. They had a nice cocktail menu as well. Service was good and everything came out fast. Overall I would go here again when I'm craving sushi and snacks!

If you're a fan of sushi and find yourself on Walnut Street, Kujira is a must-visit. We opted for the Tokyo Experience, which grants access to nearly the entire menu for $38--an impressive deal considering the amount of food you get.The sashimi options are extensive, but there's a catch: you can only order each type once per guest. While this might limit your variety, the overall value and quality of the food make up for it. Be sure to come with an empty stomach, as there's a generous amount of food, including some delicious desserts that you won't want to miss. The ambiance at Kujira is pleasant, offering a modern yet cozy feel that's perfect for enjoying your meal. The service was friendly, though it did have its moments of slowness, which might test your patience if you're particularly hungry.Overall, Kujira is a great choice for a sushi feast. The quality of the food and the value of the Tokyo Experience make it worth a visit!

AYCE sushi?! Yes please! There aren't many of these around and the ones that are seem to drown their sushi in mayo and eel sauce so it was refreshing to go to an AYCE sushi place that had variety and real sushi. My friends and i tried a plethora of options and they were all really good. The fish was fresh and each dish was different and unique. The dish that stuck out of the most was their white fish katsu. It was so delicious! Crispy and tender. The only thing that I wish was different is that a bunch of the photos on their menu do not match what you're getting, so that can be a bit deceiving. Service and atmosphere was great!

Really great sushi, cannot say the same about the service. Sat down to eat at 4:00, ordered and food came quick. Seems like they only had 2 servers for a Saturday evening so I ended up waiting almost 20-30 minutes between orders. Disappointed in the service because, again, the sushi is fantastic
