Korner Restaurant

A big step up since our last visit over 5 years ago. Good was good and plentiful and service was excellent. Great local spot.

I have never been disappointed with any of the food I have ordered here. Food is great and the service is fast and friendly. Don't forget the pie. Eat in or take out.

Kountry Corner catered our aunt's funeral reception . The food was delicious and so was deasert. No wonder our aunt loved this restaurant. When we come back to visit my mom-in-law's hometown, we plan to stop in.

This place is great! Good food and PIE! I had pie for breakfast a few months back. What's more important is that this restaurant is "nerve-central" in this little hamlet. It's the newspaper, the radio, swapping news around the pot-belly stove. It's the kitchen, the dining room and the living room of Sligo. Local retirees come early in the morning to peel potatoes so there will be home fries for breakfast or come each week to make the lasagna for Thursdays. At the Korner Restaurant in Sligo, PA, they feed your body and soul. This is my mother's hometown and though no relatives live there any longer, we find ourselves at the Korner Restaurant for many reasons when we're passing through. Most recently, we spent a bitter cold and snowy morning there before my father's funeral and burial. As my mother, brother and I chatted with the minister who would participate, the owner continually ushered my mother's classmates, neighbors and friends into the side dining room to renew friendships and lift her spirits.

Friendly small town restaurant. Good home-style food at good prices and the pie is excellent.

Great place to go. Large selection of meals and sandwiches. Friendly service,and the prices are really good too. Can't wait to go back this summer when we are in the area. We sometimes eat there 2 or 3 times a week. Great specials too and the Friday fish is really good.

March 6, 2021. Refused breakfast after 11am today, on a Saturday, even though it's on their menu with no timeline mentioned. Very rude waitresses the last 3x we were in. No greeting, no smile and let you sit for several minutes before acknowledging you. We were regulars for years. We won't be back.

We drove about an hour to get here. I had liver and onions. My husband and our friend had meatloaf. It was delicious. The slice of pie was huge and really good. We'll return!

Terrible food and service. Pie is the only thing with any form of value but was not permitted to order any for Easter Sunday because they apparently stopped taking orders on Thursday when we were told Friday was the last day by a member of their staff. Upon discussion of this with I believe to be the owner I was hung up on. I would rather eat a four month old banquet frozen dinner than support these crazy people.
