Knoll Run Golf Course

This might be one of the best public courses in the tri county area. The owners have transformed what was the craptastic Country Side Golf Course into a top teir course. The course is well maintained, great drainage, paved cart paths, irrigated fairways. The restuarant is very good too. They have a nice selection and great prices. Some of the best wedding soup and chicken wings in the valley. I try to get a round in every time I am back in the area. They do a fantastic job hosting outings too!

This place is probably my favorite place to golf. Well kept course that's never too busy and it's reasonable. Doesn't have annoying older people like reserve run that always has a stick up their ass. Great outdoor bar and sitting area as well. Can't wait to hit the course a few times this summer!

I'm a fan of this place for sure! First of all, it's a golf course, so I'll cover that first. Regarding that: it's really inexpensive and the course is nicely maintained. Can't give it a full 5-Stars simply based on the fact that there's. NO SAND-TRAPS, which makes this course a bit less challenging than most serious players would desire. Seeing that it's inexpensive, the pace of play can often be slow, since there's no shortage of retiree gold groups that play with 10-12 guys at a time. The restaurant/bar: Bar prices are fair and there's a nice selection. The food is quality and again, the prices are fair. There's also an outside bar, which opened in this past year. It's really nice and has flatscreens and ceiling fans, which is an ideal setting on a nice summer day. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend.

Where is customer service nowadays? Decided to have a few drinks and something to eat with friends this afternoon. Arrived around 5:15 and ordered a beer. I don't recommend the Alaska Amber Ale. Anyway, I ordered my dinner and when it arrived it was not what I had ordered. When something like this happens I, unfortunately, end up losing my appetite. I asked the waitress to take the order back. Then started the procession of people trying to figure out what was wrong. I told two different people what was done wrong, and thought I'd heard the last of it. But as I was leaving some man came to the table to try to talk to me about the order. I told him it was incorrect and asked him to "please" leave, but he refused. He just continued to try to question me. When I again asked him to leave he told me I was no longer welcome and that I had to leave. I got up to leave but he stood in my way, and so I had to ask him to please move so that I could go. I then told him I'd pay for my beer and leave. I went to pay but they included the dinner that I didn't eat on the bill. I told him that I would not pay for food that I didn't eat and they finally gave me a check without the food on the bill.

Great course when your home track is closed and you have the "bug"!! Very impressed with the conditions! Greens where in good shape. Price is good. Staff was friendly! Highly recommended course!

Hello the course was beautiful. The service was top notch at the club house, but what happened on the course was humiliating. The owner of the the place was behind up he was with a group of six. So we let them pass us. While on the green of the 12th hole we were approached by a staff member wanting to check our cooler because of the owner. Every beer,golf ball,tee,hot dog was bought there. I feel discriminated,judged,and exploited. WILL NEVER RETURN

Friendly place to play golf and have a great dinner afterwards on a really nice patio.

Nice enough course for what it is. Seems like and older place with older clientele and old rules that don't really make sense any more (unless there are gangs of disruptive teenagers here at other times of the day).Overall, not very welcoming. I can take it or leave it, but it was clear they could take me or leave me as well.The golf was OK, but we ended up enjoying our 19th hole down the road. Doubt we will be back.

Played golf there on Tuesday and could not believe how rude the starter was to our group. Grumpy old men should just stay retired if they are going to work with such an unpleasant attitude. I am an avid golfer and with all the great courses in our area I/we will not be back. Get rid of the old grumpy rude starter if you want to stay competitive.
