Kings Fried Chicken

Let's start this review off by saying my entire family is OBSESSED with Walid's. We tried it for the first time when I became a homeowner this past year and I needed to feed my moving crew. I got enough food to feed 8 people and it was less than $100 which is unbeatable for the quality of the food. We love it!I ordered the same menu items this past weekend and both times I've ordered here it's been incredible. We got the big family pan of chicken and the big family pan of cod fish. Both were super fresh, crispy, and flavorful. The fries were just coming out of the fryer when we arrived, so we had no doubts they'd also be delicious. For the price and how amazing the food is at Walid's, it's easy to say we have a local favorite that we will visit time and time again. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for some great fried comfort food!

Very poor service. Limited selection unless you want a heart because everything is fried. They are definitely in need of a menu upgrade.

I was really in the mood for fried fish, tried someplace new to me and had to get delivery. For the price I was expecting so much more. I was very specific in the additional instructions to say; "No salt on fries and to make them well done". I'm not sure they ever saw them as there was so much salt on them, I could not eat them, though they were delightfully well done, but perhaps that is how they regularly cook them. just horrible. The fish was dry and breading over cooked and over thick on some spots. The shrimp were tasty, but once again for the price was not expecting tails, which had me tearing them apart to get to the meat. My favorite part was the coleslaw, though to sweet for my tastes, it was creamy and well made, which there was a bigger portion with the meal. On top of it all, if you're going to send plasticware, send an actual fork and knife and not a spork. I had asked for extra tartar sauce, and was sent 3 lil packages of it along with 5 packs of some cheapo company ketchup. For a place with Fish in it's name was rather hoping they would have made their own as it is very easy to do, but sadly disappointed. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Idk what they put on this chicken, but it was beyond delicious. Left my colleague and I speechless! If I ever visit the Pittsburgh area again, I will be heading there again!

We ordered in from this place to give it a chance and we couldn't have been happier. Great quality and taste. Best damn hush puppies we have ever had and I normally don't like them!

On our way to Westend Overlook and stopped in for a quick bite. This is take out only so that was perfect. The chicken wings are lightly breaded with some seasoning and were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside...very good. The Shrimp was a little over breaded but still very good and tasty. The fries are kind of what you get at this type of place..soft and OK. The Okra was over breaded and just not very good.

Hole in the wall fried fish and chicken. Perfectly fried and moist fish. It was quite good and I would definitely go back again.

Service was awesome, food was amazing that shrimp was insanely good. My fiancé loved his food as well.

The service is AMAZING and the man working there is very kind, professional, and a talented cook! This has to be the best-kept secret in the west end. Yinz need to come check this place aht!! I recommend the chicken quesadilla OR the (best ever) steak burrito! Absolutely delicious. I may come back for dinner, later

Awesome place. Seems that you can only order through a delivery service. Great fish sandwiches and fantastic cat fish nuggets. Good sides too. Open late and delivery is quick.I'm ordering from the Mckees Rocks location.
