Kim's Confections

Kim's did an amazing job on our Eagle Scout cake for our daughter. The cake was light and fluffy, great flavor and the design was just right for the occasion. The full sheet was just right for about the 70-80 people, with a few pieces left over for the next day! The extra two dozen brownies cut to party size were a perfect touch to some homemade 'Grandma' cookies!

Beautiful, tasty variety of cupcakes. Quick service. Easy to find. Need to go back and try some other things people are raving about.

My mother-in-law-to-be had ordered cake pops from this bakery for our engagement party, and they were heaven. They were not like any cake pop I've tried before. It was decadent and everything that we had asked for. We also ordered from them months later for a shower, and they still met the high expectations from the first time we have ordered. Consistent and presentable and tasty 10/10 would recommend.

My co-workers surprised me with my 50th Birthday cake from Kim and not only was it delicious but she did a amazing job on my cake! This is saying a lot because my dad was a baker and had 6 bakeries in his day so I know my stuff and if you want any bake goods you want to go to Kim. Not only have I had this amazing cake but I have had her brownies also and they were moist, delicious and just the way you want them. Thank you Kim for the amazing job you did on my cake! Marci King

From the minute we walked in Kim made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. Even though we were the only ones there she made us wait while she pretended to do something. Her greeting to us was neither warm or friendly. She MADE us taste 6 cupcakes even though my daughter and her fiancé knew exactly what they wanted. We only wanted to taste a couple. Don't even get me started on her interaction with her daughter, who walked in and said; Hi Mom. These occasions are suppose to be happy ones for the future bride and groom, thanks to you Kim that vibe was ruined. Oh and she was going to charge us 100 dollars to deliver an 8 inch cake!!!

My family stops by this bakery regularly. All of the choices are divine, but we commonly choose cupcakes, brownies, and anything chocolate covered. The owner, Kim, makes you feel welcome, and her talents are revealed in all of her work. We are so grateful to have Kim's Confections in our area!

I had cake pops and party brownies for my son's graduation party. They were amazing!! Absolutely delicious and perfectly individually packaged. I will definitely recommend Kim's!! Thank you so much to Kim and her team.

We were recommended to this bakery for fondant work so we decided to purchase our daughter's first birthday cake here. I went in to discuss different options and was met with comfort that our theme was very popular at this time and they had done other cakes like ours as well. We even ended up changing the date of our party because they were not available to do ours the original date. We were unsure of the guest list so we decided to finalize the order over the phone. I mentioned I would love a cake like the picture she had shown me in the shop and was told it would not be a problem. I called in 3 other times just to check in and make sure we had the times and dates correct. The day of the party I come to pick up the cake and the girl working didn't even want to show me the cake. She kept it turned around and quickly told me to sign the paper that I was told was a liability form in case damages occurred upon leaving the shop. In a hurry to make sure we have everything ready for our guests, we leave and start to look at the cake. It was so poorly executed. The icing wasn't smoothed in places the ocean scene was falling off the sides and the "fondant" characters we were paying for were printed edible images. The characters were not even from the video we requested. We called in and were told to call another day because Kim the owner was not in the shop. Guests at our party even said it looked very rushed and poorly done. It was a huge embarrassment. Kim called me In the middle of the party only to upset me and begin reprimanding me for not completely reading her contract. Very unprofessional. She offered a refund only after me telling her that she was calling and ruining part of the day on my daughters first birthday. I was so upset by the way she was talking to me I was in tears. Never in all my years of customer service would I talk to a customer that way. We couldn't even get any of our guests to take cake home and it ended up mostly getting thrown away because the icing was absolutely terrible and horribly greasy. Maybe it was shortening instead of butter? When picking up our refund later in the week Kim was very rude and unapologetic. I tried explaining that it was not the correct characters and she just said "well you said baby shark and that's what came up in google so I don't know what to tell you". Apparently fully listening to your guests and making sure you know what they want is not their policy. I even offered to email the picture i had saved and shown her in our first meeting and she told me no it wasn't necessary. I was only trying to help for the next guest and again I was met with attitude and rude customer service. We will never go to this bakery again. Terrible customer service and disgusting cake. We've bought better tasting cake at the grocery store. Original cake we were shown on the left-ours on the right.
