Unlike the review below our child actually attends the daycare. This facility has been excellent as have all of the staff. In our experience each staff member is always willing to discuss development, plans for transitioning, the milestones that are expected to do so, and any other topic we feel we need to discuss. The building is secure and requires a pass code to enter, the staff makes it a point to know who you are, and are always observant and friendly. I would hope that most people wouldn't consider Yelp as a source of determining their child care facility. That said, I just wanted to give a perspective from an actual client on our experience. Additionally we looked at more than half a dozen or the options before choosing this facility and found Kiddie Academy to be the best balance of benefits, educational opportunity, and cost.

I have had my daughter at Kiddie Academy of Wexford for over 2 years and I value the care that the staff at KA has provided my daughter each day. From the very begining my husband and I noticed that every staff member always said hello to my daughter and knew her by her first name. We had come from another daycare in the area and we were amazed by comparison to the compassion and detail that Kiddie Academy provides to our child to ensure her safety and progression of her development. Our daughter also has a milk allergy and we were concerned about accomodations that would be made to allow her to eat the food made at Kiddie Academy. The wonderful in house chef took the time to review all the ingedients that would contain milk and our daughter was able to eat 80% of the foods that were provided to her each week. They are also always willing to provide alternatives when available to allow her to eat meals that her classmates are having. The director Mona has always made it her first priority to care for the children in her facility and to make sure the children's needs are met. The assistant directors are always available as well with any questions and assistance that we have and are fast with responses to our questions. Kiddie Academy has been our second home for our daughter we have felt so comfotable leaving our daughter in their hands each day. Acedemically our daughter has amazed us with her progression in skills and ability to identify letters, shapes, animals, and recall curriculum from her day. I have observed that the children at Kiddie Academy are engaged in age appropriate fine motor and gross motor activities to keep their muscles developing and they are always presenting new and fun ways to challenge the children developmentally. My daughter loves going to school each day as she feels special and the staff at Kiddie Academy has always made my family feel welcome with any questions or concerns. We are very proud to say our daughter goes to Kiddie Academy of Wexford.

My 3 1/2 year old and 5 month old both attend Kiddie Academy and love it. This is our third child care facility for our oldest and he has never been happier to be going to school! They both are doing great! They love their teachers and are happy to go to school each day. I always know they are in great care while they are there. The teachers are amazing and it is a super clean facility. I would recommend Kiddie Academy to anyone who is looking for childcare.Lauren P.

This rating is based off of a tour of the facility and their staff. My child did not attend this daycare. I stopped by Kiddie Academy for a tour unannounced. I didn't have an appointment and was told I couldn't see the room or get any information until I made an appointment. This was a red flag to me. Every other place I went to visit didn't have a problem with me stopping by. I made an appointment to visit the following week and gave them my child's name, age and my information. I arrived a few minutes early and waited in the lobby for the assistant director. I talked to the director, Mona for a few minutes. She seemed great and interacted with my child. Elizabeth the assistant director gave us our tour. She didn't remember our names or how old my child was. She told me she left the paper in the office and it was currently occupied. She didn't once acknowledge my child. She showed us the current room my child would be in and then the next room. While the rooms were very nice, the staff didn't acknowledge us once. Elizabeth didn't have much to say about the rooms and at one point had to leave us in the hall because another staff member had a question. She showed us outside and that concluded the tour. We were in the facility for less than 10 minutes. After we visited the rooms I asked about transitioning between rooms and if it is by age or development. The answer I got was when the staff feel the child is ready. I then asked if there was availability in the room for my child. I was told that she didn't know and that she would give me a call. I asked if she could look right then and she told me the office was being occupied and she didn't have the paperwork on her. This was after I visited the previous week and was told I needed to make an appointment. After making an appointment I expected her to be more prepared. It is now over three weeks later and I never got a call back. Needless to say we did not pick this facility and I would not recommend anyone wasting their time.

My daughter and I love Kiddie Academy. My daughter is almost two years old and loves going to "school" every day. Even at such a young age, she has made great friends, and often wants to stay and play at the end of the day. There are three hallmarks of great childcare that Kiddie Academy exemplifies: great staff, an excellent, challenging curriculum, and the safety of the children.Enough cannot be said about how great the staff at Kiddie Academy are, and it all starts with great management. What really impressed me when we toured was that Mona knew each child and parent that passed by name, and each adored her. She hand picks the staff to ensure that the best interest of the children is put first. This center has a much lower turnover rate than many of the other facilities I toured, and throughout my almost two years with the facility, it has remained true. Kiddie Academy follows a curriculum even in the infant room. Every day I am surprised by what my child has learned, created, and read. She started using simple signs around 8 months, was introduced to colors and letters early on, and the use of "Please" and "Thank You" has been so consistent to the point that it is natural for her. For a few weeks last year, I switched my child to another daycare center that was closer to home for the convenience. I quickly pulled her out because of the lack of structure. While they had a curriculum, it was ignored in the infant room, and the children were just placed on the floor for free play all day. I quickly called to have my daughter transferred back into Kiddie Academy, and have not regretted the decision yet. The safety of the children is a top priority. There is a security system to sign in and out each student, and great care is taken to make sure that no one enters the facility who should not be there. Field activities such as bounce houses and an activity bus are brought in during the summer, allowing each student to participate without introducing the safety concerns of traveling (the older kids do go on field trips). There are many other great perks: family style eating, plenty of outdoor time and indoor exercise in poor weather, seasonal performances, parent teach conferences, and the activity filled summer camp to name a few. I would highly recommend Kiddie Academy to anyone. I have never been disappointed. In fact, it has been quite the opposite. There are always new things being incorporated to improve the experience for the parents and the children.

Our daughter has been going to Kiddie Academy of Wexford since she was 3 months old, and as she now approaches her 2nd birthday, we really couldn't be happier with her development. The caring staff at KA has helped us through each phase of her life, always attentive to her needs, and willing to give us advice should we ever ask. As new parents, we often wondered things like: best time to start solid foods, when to go to 1 nap/day, etc. The professionals at Kiddie Academy were always willing to meet with us, take time out of their day for individual attention, and answer any questions we might have. Every staff member there knows my daughter's name, they always greet her with a smile, and they genuinely care about her welfare. I would recommend this to anyone, and in fact I have.

Kiddie Academy of Wexford has continued to exceed my family's expectations for quality and professional child care. We have been very happy with the social and educational development curriculum implemented at the facility. The management staff and caregivers in the classrooms have been nurturing with our child, and supportive to us as parents. Milestones in development were discussed openly and honestly with us and major transitions in care (ie: feeding schedule, nap schedule, potty training, etc.) were always done when my child was developmentally ready, and with the utmost care for their well-being. The facility itself is both clean and secure, with the children's health and well-being being a clear priority. The classroom curriculum is outstanding and incorporates art, music, and language components. The meals and snacks provided are well balanced and appropriately proportioned with fresh fruit and vegetables always included. I would confidentially recommend Kiddie Academy of Wexford to any parent looking for a high quality, safe, nurturing, and dependable childcare option for their family.
