Kennedy Lanes

went to Kennedy lanes last night for some spur of the moment bowling. I was so pleasantly surprised that the bowling alley is smoke free! There is a bar / restaurant attached to the alley that allows smoking, but there is a door in between so i didn't notice any smoke while bowling. The bar area next door does have games, like pool, darts and gambling machines (?) however, inside there was so smokey i couldnt stay. overall good time bowling and good prices. games were $5 each on a saturday night + $3 shoe rentals. They do cosmic bowling after 10 pm for $12 perperson plus shoe rentals. will be coming back

This was the first time I visited Kennedy Lanes. I went with a group of friends to their cosmic bowling on a Saturday night, which is from 10:00pm-1:00am. The lanes were very clean and I was pleased to see that they had new bowling shoes! Their prices are very reasonable compared to other bowling alleys, which I always appreciate. Everything was set up nicely and we had a great time at the facility!The reason I am giving this place 3 stores is simply because of customer service. First of all, the little attached bar was unattended, so we were directed to go to the main bar to get drinks. It's a little inconvenient when you're bowling because then you have to wait on whomever left to get the drinks. The most disappointing thing was how the older man treated us! He seemed like he had a larger role than just an employee- not sure if he was a manager. At 12:30 on the dot he turned the light back on and shut our lane down in the middle of the game. I went to ask him if he could give us access to our lane and he looked back at the clock and said, "Your time is up." I responded that it says they are open until 1, in which he said, "Oh, did you see that online?" When I told him that yes, I saw it online he acted as if he was doing me a favor and told me that he "guesses" we can bowl until 1 then. MEANWHILE, there was a large group of people a few lanes down that were not being subjected to this behavior from this man! He didn't touch their lane! Soooo unprofessional... if the customer service improved it would definitely be a 4-5 star facility.

3 Stars on Yelp is A-OK and Kennedy Lanes is A-OK with me.The League keeps me coming back to this old timey facility with wooden lanes, dented ball machine returns and enough grease and grime on your ball to appreciate the work that has to be put in to keep these relics going.Don't fret if your ball is stuck in the return, or you're missing a 7 pin on your 2nd roll. They'll fix it. It's the charm.By the way, there's a bar with a full food menu here too.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past but boy oh boy is this place the place to be .. I would give it 10 stars if I could! If you go after 10 on the weekends they turn the lights off and put the disco on, would highly recommend for a fun night out
