With a daughter at Penn State, we're trying to get to all the restaurants in the area, so on move-in weekend, we visited Kelly's. That day we were sent a text asking if we wanted to sit outside. When we arrived, we were seated on their side, outside patio next to a wooded area which was lovely. Our server was attentive and offered suggestions when we asked. For appetizers, we ordered their soup of the day which was a hearty 4-onion, a Caesar salad, and the teriyaki tenderloin which was delicious. My husband ordered the seared filet medallions which he said were good but on the smaller side. The same was true for the seafood cioppino which was good with a variety of seafood and three crostini but was also on the smaller side. My daughter ordered the 7 ounce filet. Overall, the food was delicious, the outside patio was relaxing, and we enjoyed our visit. The restaurant also serves local vodka which was enjoyable.

Mixed...that sums it up. Having lived in the area about 36 years before moving away, we were very familiar with Kelly's steakhouse. After looking at some local reviews, J decided that our 43rd wedding anniversary dinner would be a destination celebration at Kelly's. We were greeted warmly by an attractive hostess and seated near the kitchen's swinging doors. Our server was pleasantly business like in her demeanor. We had perused the cocktail menu before she arrived. I didn't find anything that interested me, and my wife couldn't decide between the porch punch and the gin and tonic with blueberry liquor. She ordered the punch and asked the server if the bar could make me an old fashioned. "Yes to that! As things turned out, the porch punch was a miss--a tasteless concoction akin to unsweetened ice tea. But my old-fashioned was off the charts. Probably the best one I have ever had. A strong highball with lots of great flavor! We both ordered a salad...a chop, chop, and a blue cheese. While our salads were tasty, they were fairly average. As I recall, mine had garbanzo beans, lettuce, some strips of salami and what I think was turkey lunchmeat. For our entrées, we both ordered the filet mignon. My wife got the 7 oz. and I got the 10. My wife ordered medium well and I ordered med. When we cut into our steaks, it was obvious there. There was some mixup. Mine was well done, and her's was medium. I definitely had to send mine back to the kitchen. After about 10 minutes or so my new steak arrived, but it was more rare than medium. I don't mind don't rare; I'm not picky but the kitchen sure had a tough time delivering on the steaks! The steaks are served with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley of broccoli, peppers, etc. All in all a good value. We split a tiramisu for dessert. It was delicious. The service was good. Our server was very professional and did her best to keep us satisfied . The ambience is pleasant. Kelly's is probably the best steakhouse in the area, but our anniversary steak dinner was certainly a mixed bag.

Decor/service: the service was quick and friendly but the decor needs a revamp. Older and outdated inside. 2/5Food:Delmonico and accompaniments- the steak was extremely fatty. Like 75% fat. I expect some fat on a Delmonico but it was badddd. The mashed potatoes were good but the veggies were over cooked. 1/5Filet medallions- well cooked and decent flavor but nothing over the top. 3/5Cajun Fettuccine- wasn't very spicy despite the waitress stating it was. Flavor was decent but nothing special 3/5

Enjoyed the Food, service and the entire dining experience. Considering it is a "Steakhouse" , I thought the prices were reasonable.

Service was great. Very friendly and helpful making suggestions. Food was very good both appetizers and main courses. Ambiance was nice with plenty of room and not too noisy. Will come back the next time through the area.

I had the salmon and was probably the best I have had in years. Can not really explain why it was so good with the exception it melted in my mouth, zero fishy taste and a very bright pink to orange color. The side salad was awsome as well. Had a variety of "stuff" in it to make it excellent.Brooke R. (Server) was very nice and did not stop to breath on he time I was there. Great to see the work ethic of central PA.Next time I am in College Station, definitely making this a go to spot.But..... you need to get in fast. Have limited hours and closed on Monday.

We went to Kelly's for a special occasion. Even though their website said they were open until 8 they told us the last reservation we could get was at 7:15. we arrived at 7:20 and were seated. We were told the kitchen was closing at 7:30 so we had to order. We ordered a salad and an appetizer and our entrees. In 3 minutes our salad and appetizer arrived. Before we were even 1/2 way through our apps(10 minutes) our entrees arrived. We felt rushed but continued to enjoy our evening. About 10 minutes into our meal I asked Jordan, our server for more au jus for my sandwich. I was told I couldn't get anymore au jus cuz the kitchen had closed and they had shut down everything. I said, but I don't have enough to finish my sandwich and was told again the kitchen closed at 7:30. As we continue to eat our dry sandwich they were cleaning the dining room, bringing out the mop to mop the floors. We were never offered dessert for my husbands birthday. We were there 45 minutes. For an upscale restaurant this is bad practice. If you are only open 2 1/2 hours a day you should at least have your food options open for those hours. We felt hugely rushed, that our waitress was unapologetic, and for the price we did not have a good experience. I have been to Kelly's many times and generally have enjoyed my experience but this time was not good. I am in the business and customer service and making your customers feel important are key. We got none of that tonight. I was excited to take my husband there for his first time on his birthday, but we were shocked at the experience we had. Disappointing.

Scrumptious steak but the portions were small for the price. We left hungry and broke!
