I've said this before about other dive bars, if there were to be a book written on local dives (something as a journalist I've thought of doing for years) this place would definitely deserve a chapter in it. Locals of Irish descent and others congregate at this quaint dive for reasonably priced drinks, spirits, stories, and friendship. Customers and staff welcome all with open arms and smiles. Put this on your to-do list!

Great neighborhood bar that is beautifully updated on the inside. Huge TVs. Best place in town to go to watch a Steelers game. They treat you like family even if it's your first time there. I haven't eaten there yet, but friends say the wings are good.

It's a bar. It's a dive bar. It's a ton of fun. Drink. The menu is limited to bar food. The music is always good.

Stumbled upon this place during a trip to Pittsburgh. Our air bnb was literally feet from the place so we became regulars for a week. This is a cozy, friendly neighborhood joint with lots of character. I'd call it a dive, but it's more than just that. It's neighbors getting together to socialize and have a good time. They were so welcoming to us out-of-towners. Do yourself a favor and check it out! Play some pinball, eat some popcorn, make new friends and drink some cold beer! One disclaimer - you can smoke inside but when it's nice out the door is open and you get a nice breeze.

I finally stopped into this blatantly obvious dive bar nestled within Lawrenceville after years of passing by it on my way down to Butler Street. I knew before even walking in that I was going to have a good time. Very Irish. Very Pittsburgh. Very fun. And they serve free popcorn! A friend and I came in, pretty much took over the upper area to play darts for a couple of hours. The drinks are relatively cheap (although I was hoping for cheaper), the bartenders and regulars were very nice. The bar is CASH ONLY, but they do have an ATM in the bar. When the ATM machine didn't hand me out the cash I requested, the owner came right over and said he would call the repairman right away- however, it spit out the money on the second try. I'll definitely stop in again soon.

Fantastic local hole in the wall/neighborhood dive bar! I would love to be there during a Pittsburgh sports event because you know it will be riled up yinzer city and I definitely want to witness that! The owner was there when we were and her daughter was bartending - they are both so sweet and funny and provided amazing insight and customer service. The drinks are crazy cheap, the popcorn is warm and the crowd is super welcoming. There's also a shot ski and we were lucky enough to get in on that with the owner! I can't wait to come back. So fun!

It doesn't get much more Pittsburgh than this. Cash-only neighborhood bar where the locals mingle with students. Great atmosphere & good prices.

This place is a great example of an awesome dive bar... My only problem was that I ordered my cheeseburger the person who is making it didn't wash her hands. She went from the bar straight to the kitchen!! Would come back for beer drinking, but not food...
