Kelly O's is my favorite diner and a Pittsburgh classic that's been featured on Guy Fierari's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". There's probably going to be a bit of a wait if you go on the weekend, but the line moves fast and it's always worth it.The servers are friendly and efficient, always making sure your coffee cup doesn't run dry or that you have all the condiments you need. Menu-wise, you can't go wrong and they have a good variety of dishes that makes it hard to narrow down your choice! Not to mention, they always have amazing specials too, so make sure you look at what they're featuring that day before making your final decision. No matter what you choose though, I always recommend starting off with their cinnamon roll. It's one of the best I've had, and it's unique in that it's flattened out (like it's been grilled or put on a waffle iron), making it extra moist and delicious. I'm not usually a big "sweets for breakfast" person but my husband and I demolished that cinnamon roll within a matter of minutes.Long story short, I highly recommend everybody experience Kelly O's at least once!

We came here at 11am on a saturday morning and there was a fat line out the door. Waited about 30 minutes outside but the line moved quick and everyone in line recommended that we stay. Sat in and felt like a real real diner. Hustle and bustle, smell of fresh fresh food. And a perfect mix of sweet and savory in the dishes. We got the Pittsburgh eggs benedict and italian french toast and wow. This was a perfect amount of food for the both of us (we both tend to eat a little bit on the lighter end in the mornings). Doused with cholula hot sauce, this was a delicious solid breakfast meal with rly nice diner vibes all around. Not sure if I would wait 30 again but if in the area I would def choose this diner as a go to for brekky.

I had heard good things about this place so I road to the strip district for breakfast there seemed to be plenty of parking and I wait only a short time on a Sunday morning and I chose to sit at the counter. It seemed busy but not harried and I had a view of the kitchen not to busy in there there was plenty of time for workers to look around and visit. After I placed my order and waited the appropriate amount of time I was served my breakfast. It was hot and I noticed that they had given me the wrong side order and I double checked with the waitress and she said she was sorry. Though it was wrong it was something I would order on another occasion so I ate it anyway and I payed and tipped without much thought. A month later I decided to try again, it was less crowded and I sat near the same spot as the last time and ordered the eggs Benedict. The wait was about the same but the Benedict tasted of and was very salty I couldn't finish the eggs, I paid and I left. I don't think I'll ever go back

This is a real classic diner but up to date. The food is fantastic, they have a machine does freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff is fantastic and quick to take your order. Don't jam these gals up, they keep it moving. Everything was cooked to perfection and my wife liked her biscuits and gravy.

This is one of my go to breakfast place in Pittsburgh. It's a classic diner vibe and you can't go wrong with almost anything on the menu. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. I often get the raisin French toast which is amazing! I'm not sure why more people don't make raisin bread into French toast... it's so good! Also I had a side of bacon which was cooked well and you get like 3-4 large bacon pieces with the side which is nice.

This place is a real gem! Very glad I went! It was delicious, super old school diner vibe. Service was fast and nice staff. It does get pretty busy here and you are only seated if all your party has arrived. But I think it's totally worth it!

It is nice that they have their own parking lot. And when we came inside , there is more room than I was expecting. We were greeted and seated right away. Everyone seemed very happy. Our waitress kept us updated on our order. When are food arrived, the portions were not small. A very good breakfast for your money. Also, keep an eye on your coffee cup, they are constantly trying to give you a refill. I'm happy I tried this Kelly O's. It's just as good as the one in Pines Plaza.

I love breakfast and this menu item had me as soon as I saw roasted red peppers! From the menu: 2 boasted eggs over hot sausage, roasted red peppers, onions, and provolone on an English muffin. You can order toast and shredded potatoes which I recommend. They blend well with the dish. The dish was incredible!!! What a fantastic menu item!!! It was so refreshing getting something different for a change. My boyfriend isnt a fan of eggs so we are always hitting diners so he can get a burger. He loved his burger and I and I had a few of his fries. I love the fries too!! They were cooked perfectly and were just the right size. We were there early so we were able to find parking in the parking lot which is a nice bonus. We can't wait to return!

Stopped here on a Sunday morning for some food - we drove past it the night before and decided to venture out for breakfast rather than our usual hotel freebie. They have their own parking lot - which we took advantage of and got lucky with a spot. There was a party waiting in front of us, despite several tables clearing out and the place being busy. We opted to sit at the bar as there were two open stools.Ordered coffee and a water. They were very busy - but I will say the weakest part of the experience was their coffee. It was quite possibly the worst coffee I've had. Tasted like hot water - no flavor at all. And I'm not even a coffee snob - my normal coffee is with dollar store creamer. Anyway - ordered the custom omelette with sausage and cheese, as well as the hashbrowns. This was very good - good amount of ingredients and plenty of eggs to it. We also shared a world famous grilled cinnamon bun which - if it isn't world famous, it is in my book. Wow. So simple but so good. Waitresses each attended Toni's with being at the bar - very friendly and attentive. Sound was pretty standard for a busy breakfast spot. Overall very good - I'll get fresh squeezed OJ next time instead.

Kelly O's over Pamelas. I have not been able to find a good diner and finally came across Kelly O's. Pancakes are perfectly fluffy and eggs are perfect. Coffee is good and prices are perfect. The waitresses are nice and friendly and I hope to be a regular for them! Food came out super fast (which was good because I was starving). The inside was clean and bright. I will make the journey from Oakland to the strip frequently for this place!
