Kat’s Coffee House

They've figured the recipe to the perfect hang-out spot in this area. Kat's coffeehouse is cute, charming, has lovely decor, friendly servers, good coffee/ tea/ snack options, and is a great place to meet friends for an hour. They have egg bites, coffee cakes, cake pops, (food from Sweet Peas) and Penn State Icecream. A few of us from our neighborhood wanted to get together there and Todd (owner with Kat) set up a lovely area for us. Keto? No problem they have plenty of sugar free syrups and are not shy about customizing. Haley, one of the lovely, friendly baristas whipped up a keto Raspberry Frappuccino that my kids beg and fight over.We've quickly fallen in love with Kat and everyone I've taken there has found it charming too.

So I stopped into Kat's today for a matcha latte, a London fog and some pastries. There's a new owner, he's great. He worked up front with a new barista. The new barista was great too, didn't get their names. The owner was so sweet, him and his new barista, hadn't had a lot of experience with matcha lattes and london fogs, so he informed me of that haha, and he gave me a $10 gift card in case it was bad. i thought that was incredibly kind and considerate. He totally didn't have to do that, i get it, not everyone orders what i order and if you've never made it before, it's a bit nerve racking. I informed him he didn't have to give that to me and i would be happy no matter how it turned out. He insisted, so yeah i was so grateful for that. i also spilled the matcha in my car, he promptly gave me towels to clean it up and very quickly remade a new matcha latte for me. He also made another london fog! bonus! i highly recommend this coffee shop the people and the ambiance there was great!

Kat's has a great atmosphere - it's decorated beautifully. And the coffee is great too! A perfect place for a business meeting, remote work, or to meet a friend for coffee
