I have stopped by here twice now with my wife and twins for dinner. Both time that's we stopped at Kasai we had ordered online and then I ran in to pick up the food. This restaurant is located on East Main Street in the heart of the Carnegie business district. The inside from what I have seen consists of a sushi bar with the cash register on one side and then seating throughout the rest. Our food was ready whenever I arrived both times that we ordered food from Kaisai. For dinner on my most recent visit I order the spicy chicken bibimbap and then a seaweed salad as a side while my wife went with the avocado roll and shrimp tempura roll. The menu describes my meal as coming with rice, spinach, carrots, bean sprout, zucchini, sunny side egg and spicy sauce (gojujang) and my wife's shrimp tempura roll as Fried shrimp, cucumber, avocado, spicy mayo and eel sauce. My meal here ended up being good as I thought that the chicken had a good flavor to it which was slightly spicy. I was able to cut into my egg and the yolk was then able to be mixed into my meal making the rice richer. Then I also enjoyed all of the vegetables, especially the carrots and zucchini as it helped to make my dish feel healthier. My seaweed salad was also pretty good here as it had a type of sweet and sour flavor to it which both my daughter and I enjoyed. Finally my wife enjoyed both of her sushi rolls here. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. As a matter of a fact you already know that I did at least but the food was good and I will again.

Very interesting. Table service for 2 restaurants. You gave two different waiters & bills. One for Kasai (which had Japanese & Korean food) & one for Don Don (Chinese food). Very cool idea. Delicious food and good service. I'd definitely go back. The sign they had for deliver services was hilarious. Not the best atmosphere, but very good food for decent prices.

This isn't the place for ambience but excellent food and service. The owner makes you feel so welcome . A hidden gem in Carnegie! I can't wait to return.

Tried the steak and tofu bibimbap! Amazing! Also had crab Rangoon from the Don Don side of the house! All of it was great! Very nice service and they gave us a free dessert. We'll definitely be returning

Interior could use a bit of updating, but was clean and comfortable enough (kudos on the St Paddy's day decorations!). As for the sushi, definitely some of the best in town. Had the dragon, rainbow, Pittsburgh, and red dragon rolls, and loved them all.

Got two poke bowls for take out. One had 7 small cubes of tuna and the other had 5. Very disappointed in portions.

Nested in a cute strip in Carnegie lies this hidden gem. Kasai has a mix of Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The food is very lovingly made, bursting with flavors with a huge portion size. Incredibly cheap as well! The woman who served us our food was incredibly attentive and would regularly check up on us and converse with us! I'd say this is a must stop especially if you're trying to ball on a budget
