Kai Buffet & Grill

Love it!! I recommend this place when looking for places to eat. Everything is self served and have many different options like soups, meals, and desserts. The people in there are really nice and always make sure you have everything you need. The places decorations and style is really calm, relaxing, and super clean!

When you're traveling, Chinese buffets are usually not a first dining option, at least in my opinion. Kai based on other reviews seemed like a legitimate option, however. It's located on the side of a building it shares with other businesses, but has poor visibility from the road, so look for the Dunkin' Donuts. Parking might be an issue due to the lack of spots. This is a small Chinese buffet, one of the smallest I've ever seen, with only four hot tables and another area for sushi/cold items. Due to this, they lack a lot of the western options that most buffets have including a large salad bar. There Chinese options however, are solid. Even when eating here at an off hour, everything was hot and plentiful. Chinese options that were good included the egg roll, friend rice, lo mein, chicken and broccoli, pork and mushrooms, and the seafood in butter. Sushi options were limited, but fine for a Chinese restaurant. Desert was basic including several fruit options and ice cream. Even with the restaurants size, they have a decent amount of seating. Kai also serves Pepsi products. Price was fair for the options offered. Overall, Kai is a good option if you're looking for a Chinese buffet when in the Clearfield area.

The host/waiter was very nice. Quick to clear plates and ask if we wanted drink refills. The food was good, I especially loved the sushi bar. Hot food was tasty with a large variety. Desert included ice cream. Several of the small cakes were really stale. This was the only think that kept me from giving them 5 stars

I love buffets I ate like four plates when I was over here little bit of everything Chinese Japanese some desserts it definitely definitely return again great food great ambience friendly staff.

I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by a very kind lady. The place was lively and it took my family a few minutes between deciding whether to take the buffet or order takeout. The lady was nice and accommodating throughout the whole process. In the end, we decided to dine-in. I ordered the vegetable Lo Mein, and was thoroughly impressed! The food arrived very quickly and was just the right temperature. The noodles were Shanghai style and tasted amazing. Lots of vegetables in the noodles as expected.What tops the whole experience off is the price of everything on the menu. Overall experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Have no complaints at all! Great service.

Decent Chinese buffet. Seems new, employees were friendly. Some of the dishes were overly sweet, but overall the food was delicious. Glad we landed here on our road trip. For $6.99 lunch you can't really go wrong.

Saw the sign on the highway and took a chance. Food was much better than I had anticipated. You can tell everything was prepared with care. Very fresh and some unexpected items like the Indian chicken was delicious. Friendly staff and warm family environment. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Great food, good taste and flavor in all dishes. The seafood salad and sushi was wonderful. The crab casserole and white fish was divine. Definitely worthwhile the stop and what a bargain at $11 for lunch.

Stopped here after my kids band competition. Food was delicious and the staff were super nice.
