JW Halls Steak and Seafood Inn

Nice people and great food. We liked the salad bar as well! Really big restaurant with lots of rooms. Old fashioned and very cute!

Food was bland and our server had a bit of an attitude, like we were inconveniencing her by being there. Was surprised to find that we couldn't order something as simple as a side salad without going for the full salad bar option. The restaurant has the ambiance of Sizzlers in the 90s, not overly impressed.

We ordered the shrimp and scallops and the crab cakes and really enjoyed it! The service from Danielle was amazing too! Definitely will be back when we are in the area again.

If you are in the area this is a great place to eat. Cool bar and great service team. I only had the chance to hang at the bar but the place was busy so the food must be good

Excellent service, top quality food and great place to bring friend and family. There steaks are incredible.

In my opinion, JW Hall's is the best local restaurant in the areas. Service is outstanding, atmosphere nice, and food is always very good, no matter what I get. They also have a nice salad bar with many items you don't typically see (cheddar cheese block, pasta salad, etc.)Highly recommend the prime rib sandwich (add cheese and onion- upcharge but worth it), the Reuben, and pasta primavera.

Grew up in Hopewell and loved JW Hall's in the 80's but moved out of state and haven't been there since. Finally got an opportunity to go back today and was very disappointed! The five at our table all ordered different entrees and none of them had a depth of flavor. From bland seafood to steaks overly done, there was nothing memorable about the food we were served. The restrooms were terribly small for such a large restaurant (the women's restroom only had 2 stalls and the men's restroom had men standing in the hallway in line). The server was nice and the food came out in a timely manner but those were the only positive comments from our table. It saddened me to have a wonderful memory from my hometown tarnished by its current state. We honestly didn't know why so many patrons were there tonight. Maybe decent restaurants in the area are hard to come by :(

Went in - about 5:00 on a Friday .Sat down and ordered drinks.Shortly after waitress came by and we ordered our food , each order included the salad bar.We got up and went to the salad bar - which is great - and when we hit back to our table - our food was sitting there ! Hardly room for our salad plates and our food was getting colder by the minute. Hurrying to eat out salads - it just ruined the meal for each of us .

A must visit in the area. Exceptional food, moderate prices, and excellent service. We have dined here numerous times, and we have always come away happy. Hats off to JW Halls!
