Juniper Grill - Cranberry Township

The service and dirty martini cocktail were great! The price of the salmon was a bit high for the portion but it was but it was still solid. Upper scale type ambiance, good place to sit sat at the bar, chill, and watch sports.

We decided to have our monthly date night at Juniper after reading great reviews. The restaurant felt a bit crowded. Not sure if it's because they sat us in the booths next to the bar. I didn't love the food. We ordered the Ahi tuna wontons as an appetizer. They were pieces of tuna over a tortilla chips covered in shredded lettuce and very little cream sauce. I'm not sure how these were considered a wonton. The fish tacos, although covered in mango salsa, actually tasted bland. They had very little flavor to them. Adding salt helped a bit, but I feel like it needed some sort of citrus dressing to liven it up. We ordered the shrimp and lobster enchiladas, I thought they were very fishy but my husband loved them. We also ordered the meat platter with the brisket, sausage, and fries. This was our favorite part. The brisket, sausage, and french fries were all great!

We were visiting Cranberry for the first time, and Juniper was recommended by a close friend. Friendly staff. Standard decor of similar restaurants...since it was Mother's Day weekend, this place was bustling the whole time we were there. Fortunately there were seats in the indoor balcony area.Food was good and prices were reasonable. Rotisserie Chicken, Chilean Sea bass, and grilled salmon tasted tender but slightly on the salty side. Wish they had some rolls with the entrees.

My husband and I have been meaning to try this restaurant for quite some time and finally got around to it. We made a reservation for a Friday night and the table was ready for us when we arrived. I ordered the California burger and while it wasn't bad, it also wasn't anything life changing. My husband ordered the Southwestern bowl with the grilled chicken and we both found it to be a bit disappointing in terms of flavor and the general freshness of the dish. The price to flavor/freshness ratio seemed a little off to us. Our server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions the menu and it was evident that she was very busy with lots of tables the night we were there. The restaurant itself feels relatively "high-end" when you walk in, but to be honest it felt like a weird combination of high-end/sports bar. Not a big fan of that, as I hoped I would have been able to have a nice evening with my spouse, but it was loud and not as intimate as I would have supposed from just entering the restaurant.

It was good. And that's pretty much all I have to say about it. The food was good always room for improvement in any sort of sense. I would go back and eat there just to give it a second shot! I really liked the restaurant vibe and it was super fun inside.

This restaurant is pretty solid! Took a friend here for dinner and got a Southwestern style salad with brisket and an espresso martini. Portion size was just right, everything was fresh, and our server was also super nice. Not sure what you call the cuisine, "New American" maybe? They got a bit of everything. Anyway I enjoyed this place and would gladly come back (hint: consider reservations, fills up quick!)

Salmon was delicious as was asparagus . Nick was our server- Great service with a smile!!!! Music was Horrible. It could be a classy restaurant with some nice music. Horrible, horrible music. Maybe good for a Rave. Food-5 star. Ambience-minus 5

Wood grilled salmon with asparagus is top notch. The grilled lemon elevates the dish so much! Burger was cooked to perfection (med rare) with wonderful seasoning. Hand cut fries. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is chilled with great decor. Would return here for future meals.

The food was very good. They have an extensive whiskey bar and the prices are reasonable for pours. Would be good for date nights. Customer service was good even though my wife couldn't make up her mind on what bourbon pour to get.

Wife ordered the Santa Fe Bowl to go for me while she was at dinner with her friends. We laughed upon opening. Supposed to Monterey Cheese, Bean and Corn Salsa, some sort of aioli among other things. It was largely a $20 bowl of quinoa and corn tortilla chips (chicken was an upcharge) My wife said both her meal and her friend's meals were good and the service was as well so giving it three stars in spite of poor take out meal.
