Julies is a cute novelty bubble tea shop, great for a treat. I don't stop here regularly because it's a bit pricey, but that's all bubble tea shops, not just this one. The inside is bright and colorful and the people that work here are super nice. They sell merch for the local school as well as bubble tea plushies and a few other cute things. They don't have a ton of parking, there's usually some spots right in front of their storefront, but it's a busy strip and since it's right on Rt 30 there isn't much room to maneuver and go through the lot again. This is a major complaint of mine, no fault of Julie's at all of course, but it is something that might keep people from stopping by. I've liked pretty much every drink I've gotten from Julie's, when you order ask for less ice, it's still enough to keep the drink cold but the normal amount of ice is just way too much ice in my opinion, and it makes it hard to get all the bubbles out of the bottom. Also, I am not a fan of the brown sugar syrup or whatever it is, I got it once and never again, it was sickeningly sweet and very grainy, the drink I had it in wasn't bad, but the syrup just sat at the bottom and never got dissolved in the drink. The tea itself was good but I couldn't finish the whole thing because of that syrup. Last time I came in I also got a breakfast sandwich, it was pretty good for what it was, but it was really plain. I like some tomato and/or tomato on my breakfast sandwiches, and I didn't see those as an option, so I don't think I will get a sandwich again. Like I said though, it wasn't bad, so if you like a plain breakfast sandwich you would probably like this one. And if they started adding a few topping options I would probably get it again.Overall, I'm glad we have a cute place like this in the area, I always have a generally positive experience here, there's just those handful of things I'm a little critical of.

Stopped in to try bubble tea and now I consider myself a regular! So many different options of tea flavors and boba flavors. Delicious & fresh breakfast sandwiches that come out quickly. It can feel overwhelming with options when you walk in, the staff is always open to giving suggestions. The staff is always super friendly & welcoming. My current favorites are Taro milk tea with almond milk & traditional boba, or a "less sweet" pineapple black tea with strawberry boba!!My only complaint would be when they're cooking a lot it gets very smoky inside, maybe they just need better ventilation. Hard to eat inside when its so smoky.*Bonus* Theyre now on doordash as well for times when I am unable to leave the office!

Refreshing bubble tea. Mix your own concoction. We also had a breakfast croissant that was yummy. We will be back often for bubble tea.

The personal best smoothie is delicious and the turkey bacon bagel is one of the best I've ever had. It's actually cooked to order unlike many places these days where it's pre-cooked and frozen.

Every time I get a drink here it is soooo yummy! I'm more partial to milk teas but the lemonades and such are also good. If you tend to find the film of fruit boba balls to be off-putting, definitely try out Julie's! It is not as filmy as the type you will find in store bought bobas. I have also tried their breakfast sandwiches. I would for sure eat again and I have!!

When my go-to bubble tea shop closed in 2021, I was devastated. Fast forward to spring of 2022, and there's a social media post about Julie's coming to town. I was psyched to have a new place outside of the city of Pittsburgh I could go to for my bubble tea fix! And, it's only about 10 minutes from home--score!I've been going here regularly since opening day, and everything has been fantastic. They have so many flavor combinations and types of boba available that I want to keep coming back just to try everything! My go-to is the pineapple with traditional boba. I have yet to try a smoothie, but they all look good and I know I'll get around to it eventually.Julie's also has some of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had in my life. The croissants are perfect, and my favorite to eat onsite. When I get an order to go, I prefer the English muffin since they travel better. No egg beaters here! Served piping hot, fresh, and quick.Pricing is on par with other bubble tea places, and they even have a rewards program now. The staff is always friendly and work quickly, so this is the perfect place to stop for a drink and breakfast sandwich on your way to work. Out of convenience, I've convinced myself that the breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks and Dunkin' are good, but pale in comparison to the ones I've had here. I've been telling everyone I know about Julie's and can't wait to go back!

TLDR: Worth seeking out for those in the suburbs east of Pittsburgh.I've been to Julie's a few times now and it has always hit the spot when I am craving bubble tea. This seems to be a relatively busy shop, but I have never had to wait too long for service. The shop is bright and clean. I did notice a large portion of the shop dedicated to clothing, but whatever, I am there for the boba! Speaking of boba, it is nice and chewy. This last drink could have been a bit less sweet. Not sure there is a 15% or 30% sweetness option.Price was over $6 for a 16oz cup, which I guess is about average these days. I think some of the higher volume shops in Pittsburgh may offer a better deal, but you gotta get there and park. Parking at Julie's is in a small, busy strip mall and the spots seem a bit tight.Giving five stars due to being very good in a bubble tea desert!
