A fine little ice cream and frozen ice spot. Pretty reasonable prices and a decent amount of variety on the menu. I've had quite a few items from this place over the years, but just recently I tried their coffee and toffee milkshake. You can have any flavor of their ice cream in milkshake form. The shake was pretty good, but there was no real toffee flavor. No pieces of toffee on top or throughout. It tasted almost like cold brew. Not that sweet either.Their ice was somewhat mediocre. My friend tried their cherry ice and the color was very artificial. The flavor was also way too sweet and almost like cherry flavored medicine. Good portion for the price though. What this place does best are the soft serves, banana splits, and sundaes. The soft serve ice creams, especially the twists (part vanilla part chocolate soft serve), are really good. They are rich and creamy. Nice and sweet. That's what I would recommend if you come here. All in all, nice little shop with a fair amount of variety. The ice isn't the best, milkshakes are okay, but the soft serve, twists, and sundaes are amazing.

We love this ice cream spot! The soft serve cones are delish and we've also tried their sundaes and candy mixed cups too and everything has been so good. Love the Wednesday night pup happy hour too!

Small local mom and pop ice cream joint...They make their own ice creams, feature soft serve and their own Italian ice.Sometimes I go and really enjoy their treats: Bada Bing ice is great - Wild cherry with tons of cherries in it. They have an orange creamcicle soft serve that's outta this world! However, I'm not a huge fan of the hand scooped ice creams. Some have been icy and kind of meh. Also, I've gone twice this week for chocolate malted milkshakes...the first one had no malt taste...ok a fluke...second time I asked for heavy handed on the malt...still nothing...Not sure what's up with that, but when you charge extra for malt I'd like to taste it...just my .02...or in this case my .94 cents.

I grew up with soft-serve ice cream so rather prefer it over fancy-schmancy ice cream parlors on the normal days, saving the fancier ones for special days.I've just gotten the brownie sundae with hot fudge, loving it so much that I keep ordering it. Best combination for me is with whipped cream and peanuts added. Quite satisfying on a hot day from a small, clean establishment with friendly, polite service.

Bada bing smoothie with strawberry mixed in..this is absolutely my favorite treat here. THe ice has great flavor and I always like to customize my ice with different toppings. I'll get a peach ice with raspberries mixed in or a mango ice with a banana. My dad really got me hooked on this place and the owner Jim is such a nice guy and great to talk to. He really cares about his business and the customers. On Wednesdays from 4 to 9 it's doggie days. You bring your dog in for a free ice cream cone and a biscuit. MMH!! My pup really loves it!! Plus it gets her out the house and around other dogs. They serve more than just ice too. They serve hard ice cream as well as soft serve with several topping choices along with mllkshakes, sundaes and fun toppings like cherry and blue raspberry candy shell and peanut butter crunch coat. I always like to try some new weird concoctions with different ingredients mixed in and they always seem to turn out great. One day Jim will put one of my desserts on the window :)

I was really impressed with Joe's! I ordered a chocolate milkshake, and I asked the very important question when I ordered...Is this milkshake made with chocolate ice cream?I was met with the response, "Of course. That's the only way TO make a chocolate milkshake."I knew I was dealing with true professionals. Quantity, quality, and great price points. They have ice cream (soft serve and reg) that they make themselves and water ice. I saw on their menu (I'll update later with a pic - shame on me) they have Wednesday dog day where your dog can get ice cream too. The location is decent. The building looks like an old Rita's and they do have a couple tables outside around back, but I'll probably always take ice cream to go from here. They do accept card, which is nice as well. Joe. You're doing it. Thank you.

I crave the Joe'lattis. I highly suggest getting the "bada bing" Italian ice with vanilla ice cream. The bada bing is a cherry flavor with real cherries! You'll never look at Rita's the same!

My only complaint is they aren't open year round, staff is friendly and helpful and the flavors are delicious, the ice cream is very good compared to Rita's

My son and I stopped by (before dinner ) for the 2016 opening day, it was well worth it!The salted caramel pretzel ice cream is super smooth and has just the right amount of sweetness, you can tell it was made out of love! Looking forward to the rest of the season

Have been here a few times now, as it a friend's childhood favorite ice cream place in the Plum area. I have never had the famous "water ice" but intend to try it on the next go round as it does look different from Rita's and apparently is what this place is known for. As far as sundaes and soft serve go, its really just your typical vanilla/chocolate/twist that you can find anywhere. Unfortunately, nothing really outstanding about the ice cream, just pretty average. I'm looking forward to the water ice in the "bing cherry" flavor - with cherry pieces in it! Its my friend's favorite and he gets it every time so it must be worth a try!
