Great butcher shop with great food and great employees... the kielbasa is so good there the best i ever had tastes amazing on the grill and the hot sausage is fantastic some of the best i ever had bought some for New Years and oh my it was sooo good... the steaks are pretty good too... overall a great butcher shop with whatever you need good local meat and good local people a must have these days

When I moved to this area I kept passing this. Finally stopped and glad I did. Their in house Italian sausage is awesome. I pick up some to keep on hand. The bacon they carry is my hands down favorite. I pick up 2 pounds at a time and it's worth it. Wish they had a larger selection at time but I love what I get there.

This should be called Joe's Convenience Store and Deli. Googled Butchers near me and it came up...the only meat they had out was pork chops, ground meat and 3 steaks. Very disappointing and the convenience store part of it was rather pricey****update. ..I have to say the ground may was fresh and very good, the buns were fresh. ..the $2 head of lettuce was unable to be used.

Walked in on Christmas eve to see if I could possibly get a prime rib roast. What a surprise when I found out I could get what I needed without pre-ordering. The owner came in and personally hand cut a rib roast that was amazing. If you're looking for a old-style butcher shop that does custom cuts, this is the place to go. The homemade sausages are also a highlight here. Do yourself a favor and make this your stop for fresh cut meat.

Just tried giving this place a chance. Heard all the hype surrounding their sausage and really was look fwd to trying it. Go there get the sausage, a turners iced tea, some paper plates and some cheese. Go to the cashier to pay and hand over my credit card. In 2024 when most folks pay with plastic and have zero problems..this place seems to have a challenge. Cashier was struggling and for some reason their credit card machine wasn't working. Another worker comes over to assist and iam thinking how long does it take to pay $22 for 5 items with a card? After close to 10 mins I felt like I was having a birthday. So I just said calm but aggravated "forget about it just give me my card back" and I left aggravated and dissapointed. Real unfortunate cause I like supporting small local businesses esp a butcher shop....but sadly experiences like this don't inspire me to go back. Place seems like an institution for locals and iam sure they will live on without my $. But I will stick with Lamperts in Mckeesport. Bigger, better selection and they accept my credit card zero problems.

Wow! Love the hot sausage. Super fresh and seasoned perfectly. Can't wait for my next batch. Super friendly service. Thumbs up!
