Jioio's Family Restaurant

First time at the Greensburg location. I will say the parking lot is on a hill and steep. The outside and inside is really nice with beige booths and dark flooring. It looks and feels like an authentic itslian restaurant. We love the pizza it's our favorite always delicious . We got the weekend family special which includes a large family salad and large pizza. We did half pepperoni half deluxe. They make their own salad dressing the blue cheese is my favorite.We decided to try the appetizer sampler WOW it was fried zucchini, cheese sticks, cauliflower and mushrooms served with ranch and marinara. It was the perfect start to our meal. We had a little guy with us and the chicken tenders meal was large. The chicken tenders were impressive. We always look forward to coming here and have a great meal every-time. This family owned restaurant is gem .

This has to be some kind of traditional Western Pennsylvania kind of restaurant. I'm not from here - Pennsylvania that is. I have eaten out most of my single adult life - and sugar flavored cereal is pretty good... red sauce - not so much. I just don't get it. I have had really good sugar flavored red sauce before - it has depth, balance, and pulls out the umami like no tomorrow. But at Jioio's - it's just a red milk-like substance that taste like the main ingredient is sugar. Not only that- The food was greasy- overcooked- oversized- and definitely overrated. How this place has people rating it five stars escapes me. Someone is asleep at the wheel in the kitchen when making these recipes. Nothing on the entire table tasted decent to me- nor looked it. It all looked like someone premade the food- threw it into the back of a freezer, pulled it out after a couple of weeks and put it in the microwave. So disgusting. It was a busy Friday night- the place was packed. Out of everyone that I heard talking about the food, not one was 'this is the best' - but more so 'this is so much food.' It's like that salad and sandwich thing for the coal miners - it isn't supposed to taste good. The taste: Honestly - it's a plate of hot mess. I had the chicken parm and it was by far the worst ever. Almost like it's microwaved dog food. There isn't no depth to it whatsoever. I am only giving it an extra star (2) because the in-laws go to this place once every couple of years. - so it's def not their favorite of course. Personally - I wouldn't waste $10 in this place and I can tell you that your definitely not missing anything you haven't tried before from your freezer, if you were to dump a ton of sugar on it.

I've never had anything I didn't like.Portions are tasty, plentiful and priced reasonably.Sauce is on the sweet side which is perfectly fine with me.Pizza sports a sweet thin crust which pairs perfectly with the saltiness of pepperoni.Sampler appetizer really hit the spot, it offers a little of everything.Service is efficient. It's a small restaurant with a separate takeout area.

I've had Jioio's take out a few times and it's all been good experiences. If you don't like a sweeter pizza, I wouldn't recommend trying theirs. I, however, really like it! The crust is almost like pie crust, thin and flaky. Definitely different than anywhere else I've tried. Their baked ziti is pretty good and it comes with one big meatball. I recently tried their house dressing, sweet Italian, and it was amazing!!! I wonder if they sell it. They're a super busy spot, especially on Friday nights so make sure to plan ahead if you're ordering take out.

So delicious!!! My favorite pizza place in the area! This was also the first time we tried the pasta and it was amazing. Our server was super sweet and attentive. I never realized how tiny the restaurant itself was but I loved how it reminded me of a small Italian joint. Much like your little family owned Italian spot. Can't wait to come back!

One of our absolute favorite places! We live about an hour away but family will tend pick up for us when visiting. The pizza definitely travels well if you're ordering to-go. You cannot go wrong with the classic cheese pizza, but we recently got the Meat za and it's was delicious! There's something magical about the crust and sauce favors here, sweeter, pastry-like, amazing. We also love their salads full of delicious toppings. Such a fan!

Just a quick update. It's still one of our favorite places to go, and the quality has not changed in the years we've been coming. If anything, they've gotten better. Have never had a bad meal here. Our go to is still the pizza, but the meals are just as awesome, and we can't go without getting an order or two of the deluxe garlic bread.

They simply have great pizza. When my relatives from Texas come to town they always call or text me to make sure I order Jioio's for their first day here.

We were #invited to the most amazing meal @jioiosrestaurant earlier this week. This is 100% my new Greensburg stop. My favorites were definitely the Baked Meatballs and the Rigatoni Salsiccia The pizza is also a fan favorite . The crust was flaky and sweet, just delicious I was also very happy to see a selection of beers in the cooler

Love their pizza plus the way things went with their service. I look forward to coming here often.
