Jimmy Wan's Restaurant & Lounge

Was in town dropping by and wanted to try this place. The food was good and I would give a 4 star. The volcano roll was so small for the price but it was tasty. Shrimp dumpling was ok I expected more because it's a Chinese resturant could be better. Wonton soup is good very flavorable. The general chicken tso could have had alittle more vegetables,but overall it's an ok place for a quick bite if you're in the area. The waiter we had wasn't really tat good, I ordered hot green tea , and was told there was no more hot pot, then he took it from another table behind me and he said he found one and he gonna go wash then bring back, then brought it to the table and it doesn't smell or taste like green tea, so I ask him if this was green tea, he says yes it is... and on top of that the cup for tea was dirty and when I ask for another one , wasn't sure if it's the same one or not, didn't have a good vibe about this place. I know what green tea taste like and it wasn't definitely not green tea. The ambience was ok just typical place of Chinese restaurant I think and it has a bar on the right side when you walk through the entrance. I would next time try it again maybe he was new , not sure but hopefully a better visit next time..

Brought my entire family here for an early dinner after a ceremony for my new born and I must say what an awesome experience ! We had plenty of room for a party of 15 with kids ! The servers were friendly and attentive to all of us and helped manage the needs of us and our four 2 year olds! Now for the food, we got pretty much everything ! The egg rolls were so fresh and juicy (I'm ashamed to say how many I ate) and the dumplings were filled with flavor! Honestly both dishes were the best I've ever had. I'm not a sushi guy but my family can be tough critics on sushi and they all loved it ! We had general tso pepper steak fried rice lo mein and these staples were all of the highest quality ! The portions were huge and the prices couldn't be beat! we all had left overs that reheated great in the hotel room ! Can't wait to comeback next time we visit my wife's family in Pittsburgh again !

We have been to the Cranberry location more times than we can count, but we finally got to the second Jimmy Wans location. We walked in on a Saturday night without reservations, and we were lucky and got a seat within 15 minutes. We kinda ordered a hodge podge of food. We had wonton soup, chicken bao bun sanwiches, Jimmy Wan dumplings, and shrimp lo mein. Everything tasted great with just the right seasonings and sauces. Our favorite every time are the dumplings...you can never go wrong!

This is our go-to Chinese place... my daughter LOVES it. People are friendly and service is prompt. We love the general TSO's white meat, beef, and broccoli, dumplings, and scallion pancakes. The atmosphere is a classic Chinese restaurant vibe but really really nice!

Jimmy Wan's is always great when we go. Service was good, we went between lunch and dinner and got seated immediately. Todd the owner and his family pay great attention to detail with seasonal cocktails and food. We enjoyed a spread of their beef dumplings, bao buns, crab rangoons and general tsos chicken. We also loved their vibrant cocktail the sugar plum fairy and N/A Royal Orchid

Great lunch specials! We met friends for lunch at Jimmy Wan's on a Tuesday in September and loved it! It was easy to get to on local roads and from PA-28. They have an ample parking lot. And we were seated promptly. We all chose lunch specials, which were generous and flavorful. We had egg rolls, spring rolls, and vegetable rolls as appetizers, all fresh and bright tasting. The fried ones were light and flakey-crispy. For mains we had sweet and savory honey walnut shrimps, bright crunchy chicken and broccoli, and lightly zingy General Tso's chicken, all with different sides of rice and hot tea. We each ate our fill and each had a serving to take home. The servers were attentive and prompt. The restaurant is lovely, and we staged some group photos in the ornate lobby. We'll be back to try everything on that great menu of lunch specials!

Had an amazing meal at Jimmy Wan's and I have nothing but good things to say about this place! The bao buns were so soft, which is great because not everywhere I have tried are and these were so delicious. The crab Rangoon is exactly what I think of when I think about an ideal crab rangoon. The sushi was also very good and fresh. Management was also very kind and the staff were hustling (I visited the weekend after Valentine's Day). I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Amazing dinner. Great ambiance. Authentically delicious! I have never found another Chinese restaurant that can compete with Jimmy Wans. Quality, consistency and variety of dishes and drinks never disappoint. Relaxed and upscale dining. We often use Jimmy Wans delivery or take out, but had a great time dining in. Ingredients were high quality and so fresh. The dim sum was top notch and all of our meals were served perfectly with great service. The chicken and broccoli is a family favorite. I have never seen our kids happily eat broccoli the way they do when we order this dish. Portions always generous and so we get to take home leftovers for lunch the next day!

I went there with family for dinner on 2/1/2025. The egg rolls and calamari were good, so that seemed like a good sign for the rest of the food. Nope. I got the crispy chicken with broccoli. When the dish came, it honestly looked like a pile of tortilla chips drenched in sauce. I asked, "Where's the broccoli?" The waitress said, "Oh, probably at the bottom." So I looked underneath and found four very small pieces of broccoli; it looked like they had taken one large floret and cut it into four small pieces. The "crispy chicken" had hardly any chicken at all; it seemed to consist mostly of fried dough, but I did find a few pieces with chicken in the middle of them.My sister-in-law got a dish with a lot of rice noodles and vegetables that looked like it had zero sauce; it was bone dry. The waitress took it back to have the kitchen add more sauce, but it came back still looking like very little had been added. We've been to the Cranberry location and had good food there. I don't understand what the deal is with the Fox Chapel location. We won't be back.
