Great place for sushi in the area. Love the happy hour and special menu. Big portions of entrees great for a big family get together. Attentive staff and decent wine selections.

I was so excited to come to Jimmy Wan's recently! I've heard great things about Jimmy Wan's and been dying to try it for some time now, so it was a dream come true. We made a reservation in advance since we came on a Friday and I'm glad we did. It was very busy even at 5:15pm when we showed up. We were promptly seated by the hostess and provided waters. Overall the food was excellent! We loved everything we tried and felt that the portions for the entrees were generous. We ended up with leftovers of both the crispy chicken and the pepper steak which I'm not complaining about! They were just as good day two! The reason for the 4-star instead of 5-star review was that our server had to be called over to order, for water refills, and the check. We were never checked on, and when she did come at our beckoning, she seemed visibly put off. We still tipped, and hopefully it was just a bad day, but we didn't feel welcome or attended to. All in all, glad for the date night and to have finally been able to try Jimmy Wan's!

Jimmy Wan's is a local pan-Asian restaurant that serves soups, salads, sushi rolls and sashimi, entrees (e.g., chicken, beef, pork, lamb, shrimp, scallops, and vegetables), noodles, fried rices, and more. Please see my attached photos for the menu in January 2025. My husband and I ate one lunch here. The employees promptly and politely seated us, took our order, brought our drinks and foods, and processed our payment. I ate a chicken slider, jalapeno butterfish crudo, and triple-green vegetables that tasted very good and that I reviewed separately under an Elite Experience review. This review will focus on my husband's foods, which included an "egg roll," "wonton soup," and "chicken with broccoli." The egg roll contained a nice ratio of cabbage, shrimp, and pork. The wonton soup contained flavorful pork and scallions. The chicken was juicy, and the broccoli tasted slightly sweet with the brown sauce. White rice was steamed perfectly. Alcohol was available, but my husband drank a soda. My husband said that his meal was "good." He, however, said that one lunch should not cost $25 plus tip. He suggested changing the price for one egg roll from $6 to something lower.

Loved my experience here. Great service from our waitress making sure we were comfortable!Food was great the stand out to me were the bbq spare ribs but my mom said the duck was the best she has ever had bc it wasn't all fatty!Ambiance is nice as well different types of seating areas from a bar to smaller seating to a larger seating section as well. A ton of options!

I recently came here again and wanted to update my review to include that their shishito peppers and fried chive wontons are quite tasty and worth ordering! Entree wise the shredded cripsy beef and general tsos chicken are still the best! I did not care for the chili pepper chicken as much.

This was the best chicken I have ever had!! It was so crispy and delicious. I absolutely love Chinese food but I am always hesitant about the chicken in case it's not crispy. This chicken is actually called crispy chicken and it did NOT disappoint! Wonderful service & a beautiful atmosphere. Cannot wait to return!

I've eaten here twice and both times slapped for me. However I will say I've had dozens of Asian spots since then and have developed my palette tremendously since visiting Japan, Hawaii, and living outside Edison, NJ (if you know what I'm talking about you'll understand)Albeit, I will say that these pork boa buns are what sparked my love for them and to this day I haven't had a better lettuce wrap, but to be fair I never ordered another lettuce wrapIn terms of restaurant itself, it's a nicer little spot so don't except to go and not be spending a little coinDisclaimer my friends went a couple weeks ago and both broke out in hives all over their body ?? I know this happens when you have too much MSG..

Stopped here for a late lunch after a long day of travel. Had a hard time finding the entrance. Maybe I need glasses.1) Place was clean and welcoming. I was greater and sat quickly.2) Server was friendly and attentive.3) Food was good over all. Ordered some Fry Rice. I feel it was missing some flavor.Ordered a Miso soup. Came full of white onions. Too much white onion garnish. Tasted mostly of white onion.Ordered some Egg plant filled with pork. Came with a good sauce; however, could not taste the eggplant much or the pork with in.My beer was good. Needed a Sapporo but they were out. Settled for a Modelo Especial.Overall, it was okay. I would return and recommend you also give them a try for yourself.

Our party of four celebrated the birthday of one of our members by dining here for lunch. We were very pleased with our decision to eat here. After getting our drinks, we ordered an appetizer of calamari rings. They were battered lightly and fried. They were served with a special sauce that was delicious. The birthday boy had a ginger salad which he enjoyed and a plate of sushi. My wife also had the ginger salad and she ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, which she loved. Our daughter had a ginger salad and the veggie plate. I opted for wonton soup (which had lots of extra pieces of diced pork in the broth (hmmm good), and for an entree, I chose General Tso's Shrimp, which was wonderful. The service was top-notch, with everything handled perfectly. The server thoughtfully provided a dessert to the birthday celebrant... a fried banana. We all enjoyed this dining experience.
