Jib Jab Hot Dog

When I come back home, this is one of those places thats a must have for me. Love their chili dogs and fries. Cant beat Jib Jab

I have visited here occasionally when in the area over a long period of time. They are great for hot dogs that are very reasonably priced. They feature chili dogs. The chili is sauce only, no beans or meat. Customers can eat in at a counter or table as well as order for take out. They have added a drive through window since my last visit. Service was reasonably fast. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Recommended for the value.

Was here a decade ago when I first moved to the area and wasn't impressed.10 years later, it's worse. Underwhelming hot dogs. Ketchup-y chili sauce. Stained-up, disgusting drop panel ceiling. Most of the booths filthy. Teenage Waitstaff Of The Living Dead were barely conscious or mentally present.Food is cheap and the fries were good.Avoid.Jib-Jab is coasting on the stank fumes of yesteryear.

This food is always been good since the child you can't go wrong with two cheddar chili hotdogs with extra onions. The service is wonderful and ambience always family friendly.

This used to be the best hot dog in all of Ohio. In fact, it's been the same recipe since 1946. Apparently the owners sold it relatively recently and the new owners made it a corporate entity and CHANGED the recipe! So many people in Northeast Ohio group up with this hot dog shoppe and this is truly an unforgiveable tragedy. Not only that, the new owners don't respond to any questions or comments about this. They do not care. They sacrificed a hometown favorite for over 70 years for profits. Shame on them. If you live in the area let them know your disdain for the new recipe.The service is still really good so no ill will towards the employees at all.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Despite being busy they had a portion of the dining room roped off? That was my first indication that I was not in for a good experience...I sat at a table... And sat. And sat some more. Never was acknowledged as other tables came and went.After half an hour I decided I was not welcome here. I have never seen anything like it. Is the food good? Who knows?

December 14, 2022Party of 2Atmosphere - 4 stars:Great old diner feel. The layout was perfect for quick service. Minimal decor with the menu on the wall. For an old semi blind guy, the menu was hard to see.  Service - 5 stars:Very quick ordering and friendly servers. I had questions due to not having a menu in front of me, but the server was able to quickly guide me in the right direction. Food - 3 stars:Ordered two hotdogs with sourkraut and mustard. Dogs came out fast and were loaded well. They tasted okay, but nothing special. No snap and tasted like a run of the mill hotdog.

Received severely undercooked chicken tonight. Took 2 bites before I realized. Weird because I waited in the drive thru awhile. You'd think it would be cooked correctly.

Horrible experience, we were sat at a dirty table. Then we asked the waitress to clean the table please . She brought our drinks sat them on a dirty table . We asked for a towel to wipe table she handed to us ?? I said we are supposed to bus own table ?? Food was horrible , if you could find the hot dog ? So sad that this establishment has went straight downhill. Don't waste your money

To start... I was always a lover of job jab....but today really changed my mind. Buns were not at all steamed but hard. The prices have more than doubled. What I orded today use to come to maybe $15 today I paid $30.. And the service was bad. Took 15mins for someone to come take our order. Then got it wrong . Like the waitress wasn't really listening.. don't say oh they are busy. Nope maybe 5 people sitting inside and hardly any drive thru. Sorry today was just all around bad.
