Jersey Mike's Subs

Great 1st time experience at this newly opened location. Definitely swayed my opinion from my visit at another Jersey Mike's a few years back. Glad I decided to re-visit my opinion of their subs.This location used to house Subway. Nice switch since Subways are only miles apart in this area. Business was brisk when we stopped, but the line moved fast. I liked the way the menu is displayed and easy - to- follow set-up. Having the line of people in front of me helped to buy time, since I changed my mind multiple times before reaching the counter.Sub tasted great, tomatoes looked and tasted like tomatoes. I like the 3 different bread size options. One could go full scale, mid, or mix two different mini subs if you want a variety of flavors. Packaged desserts look better than most other options at typical sub places .

Ordered 2 of the more popular subs to try...Sandwich #1.. the Italian.Meats were typical of any other Italian sub; none special & no single flavor (of meat) stood out. Pepper relish was gobbled on so heavily that it overtook the flavor of everything in the sub & sogged the roll. The cheese, was there cheese? I didn't taste it. The kick to the cherry pepper relish was beautiful, nice tartness comes through however, there is no choice but to taste that & almost only that.Sandwich #2.... the CheesesteakThis one also offered a 1 note flavor of cheap American cheese sauce which was copious & quite thick... "stick to every surface in your mouth , thick) No individual identifiable taste unless you try each bit separately that hadn't been touched by cheese. Cooked peppers & onions, unremarkable. The mushrooms were canned, that in itself is enough of a description. The meat, texturally was good, not excessively chewy and had the typical Cheesesteak flavor. Couldn't continue with this one, nor could I finish the last bite I took before throwing it away, I spat it out. The cheese just killed it for me. An hour later and I regrefully still taste it. Both rolls... unremarkable.When ordering through doordash, this restaurant will not offer "special instructions" which may have very seriously helped both sandwiches. Allowing spreads/sauces/relishes/etc to be requested on the side may have significantly helped both subs. As well, allowing for a choice of cheese preference may have further enhanced the flavor & saved both soggy rolls. Should another chance be taken on these subs, I truly hope the outcome is drastically different.

I'm not a big fan of sandwiches. But I was hungry for a Philly cheesesteak. So I stopped into the nearest Jersey Mike's. I ordered and didn't have to wait long. I ate when I got home. It was better than any sandwich shops I've ever been to in my area. Theirs was great, meaty with a lot of cheese and onions. I will go back the next time I am hungry for a sub. Inside the store was clean and there's seating. Also the one in Greensburg is in a strip mall with plenty of parking.

The subs are generally well portion and wait is almost non existent. Great variety and I actually like seeing them cut the meat for your sub right then.

when we first went into the store we were greeted, and as someone who visits Jersey Mikes a lot I was extremely disappointed by the state of the restaurant, the tables were all dirty, the floor was dirty, and the staff was rude, all except for the slicer who was a tall lady with tattoos, she was very nice and made sure we got everything as we wanted it. the organization was also terrible, there were catering boxes on the floor(I have been around to see caters as the murrysville store and the catering boxes were organized and on tables and counters, NOT on the floor!), there was cornmeal all over the counter, and the some of the napkin holders were empty(like the one at our table). the cashier was akward and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times before we got rung up. I was very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.
