Stopped in here after visiting trace brewing down the street. Jak was incredibly friendly and helpful and his baked goods were amazing! He had all kinds of different offerings and everything we had was delicious. Will def make a trip back.

Very unique and interesting. I don't love all the flavors here but their execution is consistent, prices are fair, and everyone is sooooo nice!! I know they are still getting settled but I think at some point they could incorporate some limited seating for those who are hungry and want to eat and have a break from the cold.

OMBakery!!!! I am so lucky to have them in our neighborhood! This is a Bulgarian bakery that often had stands at local farmers markets. How fantastic is it that they now have a brick and mortar location? This is a family-owned business, husband and wife.Jak and Molly Latinova.Jak has over twenty years experience in baking classics (some with a twist) from his home country of Bulgaria.Every bite of the product they put out is pure love and Europe.Meeting them for the first time felt like talking with family.Bakery is extremely clean and modern.Feels like you're walking into grandma's kitchen. The smells and tastes are pure bliss.

Always love to find bakeries. The baklava cake was great. Baklava is great no matter what form it is in. Jaks Bakery would fit in just as well in a European town. Thank you!

My friend and I enjoyed the perfect Sunday morning with pastries from this quaint, and friendly bakery on Main. I ordered the Vita Banitsa (Ricotta, Feta, Egg, Yeasted Phyllo) while my friend got the Cinnamon Sugar Kifla. We snagged coffees and a sit down spot at neighboring Trace, it was bliss.

A cool new neighborhood bakery with a unique selection of pastries, offering a fun twist on the usual sweets that we'd expect from a local bakery. While we genuinely appreciate the effort to diversify Pittsburgh's culinary options, our initial visit didn't quite match the hype. The rosehip kifla had a nice sweet-tart balance, but the bake was a bit stale. The spinach and cheese banitsa also seemed off - while we enjoyed the combination of the buttery phyllo dough and the savory filling of the pastry, our portions had a soggy bottom, and at first glance looked a bit more of the undercooked and doughy side. While not perfect, we get that new places have their hiccups. Hoping to try this spot out again as the concept is super promising!

I happened to stumble upon this place exploring around Maps while I was in the area, and I am so glad I did because this is truly a hidden gem of Pittsburgh! When coming in, I was immediately impressed by the warm reception and easy conversation from Jak. The overall feel of the place was inviting and comfortable. All of the baked goods offered looked AMAZING and I cannot wait to try it all. Whether you're looking for amazing Banitsa or some Easter bread - this place has amazing baked goods everyone needs to know and try! Go to Jak's!
