Jaffre’s Stone Bar & Kitchen

It was my first time having lunch here in a while. Both the sandwich and salad menu are great. I had a Black and Bleu salad with steak. You could also choose chicken, shrimp or salmon. It was huge! But it was so tasty and I was so hungry, I forgot to photograph it until it was almost all gone. So you'll have to trust me...it is worth the price. Actually, everything on the menu seems reasonably priced. And portions are large.There were 6 of us, all separate checks, yet the waitress was able to keep us all straight. She was very organized and efficient. This was a Christmas luncheon and the dining room was nicely decorated with a huge tree and a roaring fire in the huge stone fireplace. Very cozy indeed!This is a solid choice for dining in Latrobe, and they're open on Mondays which is a plus!

This was our first time at Jaffre's. We were upstairs in the dining room. It is an amazing room should have god pictures but they were packed busy! Make reservations if you can. The food was worth it! They have a great selection in the menu and we sampled and shared! Because it was all so well done! Even busy the service was 5 star.

This place is a gem! A converted stone house beautifully updated with modern decor that showcases the original architecture. The food was delicious, prices reasonable, and service was great! Salads were fresh, seafood was cooked perfectly and the steak sub and fries were delish. The menu is diverse with light and heavy options. We sat in the main dining but there is also a traditional bar in the basement and an outdoor patio. Just a few miles from downtown Latrobe, would definitely recommend!

Wonderful atmosphere hidden gem in a very beautiful quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this place. It is not handicap accessible though which may be a problem for some. The prices are great. The food is wonderful. A lot of food for your money. Nice off street parking lot. Nice cozy fireplace lots of wood decor giving it a very historical feel.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The rustic setting in the cavernous main dining room sets the country dining tone. A nice lunch/dinner menu selection. They serve alcohol so you can have that rate 2 martini lunch! I've eaten lunch there twice and of course will go back. The traditional Italian Wedding Soup I had could have used a little more seasoning for my taste, and the BBQ chicken sandwich was definitely NOT a hand-held and a little tangy! Still a tasty meal. Note: this venue is not handicapped accessible and requires climbing steep stairs for dining room access.

My son found this after we visited Saint Vincent College for lunch. What a gem. Cute and clean inside. Waitress had 10 tables and provided phenomenal service. My son had a burger and I had a ciabatta sandwich. Food was excellent. Would highly recommend this hidden gem and can't wait to stop back. We love stumbling on places like this.

Did not receive any food on this visit. Walked in around 5pm on New Year's Eve and denied service due to reservation requirements that were not listed on website, only on facebook. Not everyone uses Facebook anymore. Please update your website with events as appropriate.

This is not a restaurant, it is a food factory. We weren't halfway through our salads when the entree came. Of course, the people who bring out the food are not the person you order it from.

More of a 3.5. Decent food and service. Nothing spectacular. But would go again. Leaps and bounds above the place that was here last...
