Ispirare Coffee

A perfect spot to work, catch a break between meetings, or meet friends to shoot the breeze. (Studied for my Air Force Officer Qualification Test, put a hundred+ hours of work in, and seen more than a few old friends at Ispirare!)The coffee is great, whether an americano or one of their seasonal drinks. I haven't ventured too deep into the baked goods, but there's always variety. Glad to have this in the area. I did take me a year to pronounce the name correctly, though. :)

A very nice coffee shop in Kittanning! Enjoyed a very tasty latte, while the missus had a cold brew she enjoyed. The staff was very friendly, and there were some neat local art pieces set out for sale. We had a nice sit down while sipping...the place was very clean and nicely set up!

Incredible drinks and outstanding service. Location and vibe are perfect. Biscotti and scones are terrific, but my favorite treat is the morning bun. Get them quickly, however. They are usually stocked on Thursday and sell out on Saturday.

I stopped by here this past Saturday With my wife for coffee. We happened to be driving near Kittanning and I hadn't had my coffee yet for the day. So my wife fired up Yelp and we were able to find Ispirare Coffee and headed on over. This coffee house is located on the corner of Market and Jefferson In downtown Kitanning. The inside of the coffee shop feels modern and bright with seating throughout. On the main communal table there was a chess board as well as a couple of other games for you to play. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with one of their seasonal drinks, a honey and lavender latte and ordered my wife an iced mocha. The business owner was there working that day manning the espresso machine and seemed to be engaging a lot of his customers in smalltalk. While I waited and was able to look around and I noticed a photo of him with his wife and kids at their grand opening as well as a best employees photo of their young kids "working", both of which I appreciated. After only a short time, I had our coffees and headed back to the car. Whenever I was able to try my coffee I have to say that I enjoyed it. The coffee was strong and rich while the homemade lavender syrup gave a nice flavor to it. There was a touch of sweetness but not as much honey flavor as I expected. As I made it further into the coffee I found out why as most of the honey was near the bottom. Due to that it was almost like a tale of two drinks, both of which I enjoyed throughly enjoyed.The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees and I loved that it was a locally owned shop.

What a great place to meet a few friends. We had great coffee and pastries and no one rushed us out, providing us the space to visit and take our time just enjoying the moment.

I was back in town visiting family and was excited to see a coffee shop like this on the main road. I wasn't sure what to expect given there hasn't been much great down that way for a while (to my recollection) and was so surprised! It looked well kept inside and the staff was talkative and friendly -- most importantly -- the coffee was great! I can't speak for anything fancy as I really just stick to a basic black coffee but the roast was great. I'm coming back next time I'm visiting. Highly recommend!

Great little coffee shop with fresh pastries, biscotti, and muffins. They also have juices and teas for the non-coffee drinkers.
