We stumbled upon Inner Groove's second location in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh, and it was a fantastic find. The space has a welcoming vibe, and as soon as we walked in, we knew we had to sample a few beers.I started with the Mosaic Goat, a Hazy IPA (6.2% ABV) brewed with Mosaic hops. It had an incredible tangerine-forward flavor that I absolutely loved--smooth, juicy, and bursting with citrusy goodness. Next up was Whistling Tunes, a Peanut Butter Stout (6.4% ABV), and damn, was this good! The rich peanut butter cup flavor was spot on, making it an easy choice for my full pour. My wife went for the Gingerbell Cookie Brown Ale, which was sensational, packed with warm, spiced cookie flavors that perfectly fit the season.Over the past year, I've found myself leaning more toward stouts, but they have to be flavorful and well-balanced--and when peanut butter is involved, I'm sold.On Tap During Our Visit:Breakable Heaven - Blueberry Lemon Donut Sour (5.3% ABV)Marshmallow Whirled - Ambrosia Sour (5.3% ABV) with marshmallow, coconut, cherry, orange, and pineapple (music to my ears)Brambling Man - Blackberry Peach Sour (5.3% ABV)Ephemeral Style - Vanilla Milkshake IPA (6.3% ABV)Sleight of Hand - American IPA (6.7% ABV) with Mandarin, Bavarian, Mosaic, Sabro, and Simcoe hopsFur Pajamas - Double IPA (8.5% ABV) with Wal-iti, Kohatu, and Mosaic hopsTaloo-Rye-Ale - Roggenbier (5.2% ABV)One thing I really appreciated was their pour options--you can get an 8, 12, or 16 oz pour, which is great if you want to sample multiple beers without committing to a full pint. The staff was friendly and super helpful, making the experience even better. Looking forward to returning and trying more of their lineup. Cheers!

First experience with Inner Groove Brewing. I was curious about this place, but the location wasn't as convenient as many of the other breweries I would visit. It's in an interesting location and I had no idea that they had had a parking lot until I went round and round several times trying to find a street spot. I then spotted a lot that was for them and found plenty of spots. The place was very neat and had a nice vibe. It was a very welcoming spot, both by the staff and the other patrons. People were able to have conversations with the formers they visited with, but also we all chimed in on several group conversations. It was a very friendly vibe. Playing off their name, they played many pieces of vinyl while I was there. The beer was decent. I would definitely visit again. I didn't go outside to the beer garden.

A fun and eclectic brewery in Verona. Inner Groove's ~thing~ is having a great collection of records which are always spinning. It added a nice ambiance while sitting at the bar and whatever's playing is a good conversation starter with the bartenders who are really friendly and helpful. I felt the tap list is super IPA heavy, which I'm not as into anymore personally. But if you are, you'll love it! I tried a blonde ale and the rainbow sherbet sour (which legit tasted like melted rainbow sherbet). They were both good. I look forward to checking out this space again in the summer. It's really close to the river so I'm sure it's even better when you can spend time outside.

A modern day rendition of a brewery with a professional finish located on the main drag in Allentown. I'm a fan of sours, so I got a flight of the 4 on the menu. Four Letter Word (Raspberry Cheesecake Streusel) and Bouncin Around (Torte Sour Lemon Meringue) taste like the real thing, they're worth the trip alone!

Love this atmosphere! Nice new place, break from the summer heat, great beers on tap. With Back In Bed stout not on tap, my obvious choice was the Melt With You. Nice "waffle cone brown ale" - not as sweet as the name suggests, it's a smooth dark ale to perk your mood up. My cousin got Psychotic Reaction sour and, for not being a beer drinker, she expressed how good it was unprovoked. So I'll say yeah, great new place to visit in the neighborhood!

Stepped in while I was waiting for my order from Paisanos Pizza next door and Sally offered several beers after I asked her to get me out of my regular comfort zone (Coors Light) and she gave me samples of several of their beers and WOW....! Their fruity beers are AWESOME...! I wish I had time to sample ALL of their beers but DAMN, the ones I tried were delicious...! Do yourself a favor, and stop here if you're driving through Allentown and try this place. Their beers will make u sit & stay awhile...! Thank you Inner Groove...!!!

Great beer, great service, and a chill vibe--what else could you ask for in a neighborhood bar? The prices are also very reasonable for local craft beer. Looking forward to going back soon!
